Well it depends, but one thing is true, most of the girls only see the first picture. They dont even read your bio.

But if you get their interest, then they start looking the other pictures. I had a picture I took a couple of weeks ago drinking in a terrace at the beach and 0 matches. I changed then to a selfie and kept that beach picture in the 3rd place. Got 6 matches the first couple of days.

Most of this is mentioned in here but just thought I'd throw in my 2c about how I function on tinder as a female, especially during my holiday in the USA. Hope this helps.

First of all, I'm not sure how common it is, but I was on the 2g "free" network and wifi for most of the trip. That means when I was in an uber and bored on tinder, if your first picture didn't interest/impress me in some way, I wasn't going to load up any more photos because it would take a good 30sec to do so.

I would swipe no to on first photos for:
Sunglasses
Topless bathroom photos
Photo with too many people in it
Photos with your pet as the main focus
Photos that don't show your face
Blurry photos.

So, first photo should be a photo of just you (unless all your friends are also attractive), looking happy, with your best angle, decent lighting, preferably with something happening in the photo (not something you'd see in a resume).

For the other photos, I think topless photos are fine if you have the body, but try to make it a candid shot; for example, you're topless at a pool; not posing in a mirror.
Have the other photos reflect some of your character as well, but try to keep yourself as the main focus of each shot.

For the bio, I know most girls don't message first, but at least write something, and make sure you spell check. I found a few good (funny) bios if you want me to share.

As a final mention, one guy had a where's wally pic as his final tinder photo and I swiped right just because of it.
