Currently on my weight loss journey.

On the left I was 253 lbs. unhappy and lazy af. Walking from the parking lot to my work was a struggle that kept me heaving.

I watched Decade first, then Kabuto. I finished both just in time to binge and catch up with everyone else as Fourze was airing. It was a good fucking winter, my guy. I actually loved Ryuki, but it wasn't immediate, it was a creeping thing. I didn't realize how attached I was to the characters until they suddenly died!

I had such high hopes for Ryuki because everyone spoke such good things about it, but it honestly felt like a story that could have been told in 10 episodes. It also frustrated me that things that were interested seemed to be one off instances (time travel and how Shinji could remember to punch when he saw the gold feathers even though his memory was supposed to be erased) and then went back to the back-and-forth filler of whether Knight was going to actually do anything about Ryuki or not. It just felt really stagnant and left a bad taste in my mouth, but I haven't seen either of the alternate endings, so maybe one of those would make me like it more.

I tolerated Faiz just barely more than Ryuki because I was fond of the Swan and Horse Orphnochs and their storyline, even though, like you said, it never went anywhere. Faiz angered me so much because 98% of that show could have been solved if any two characters ever bothered to talk to each other, and that doesn't make for a good plot.

OOO is my absolute favourite Rider. There's almost nothing I would change about that show, and I feel like it gets overlooked a lot. The side characters are great, the suits are good, the villains have motive and an actual ending, etc. It's just so fantastic.

About 4 years difference, I'm 32 now.
Starting point of the change was my gf breaking up with me, I was just stuck in that way of life, and I wanted to push the change of the breakup to the max, and into something positive. I think I did well.
Moved out, went shopping with a bro and his gf and bought some decent clothes (and learned how to pick clothes and properly dress myself), obviously grew a stache, and a few weeks ago I got lens implants.
I also became -a lot- closer to my family and closest friends, and am now (after some existential struggles) in a much better state mentally.
Next goal: improve physical condition, which is quite a challenge for me because of arthritis.

I'm ashamed to admit it now but I got involved with an MLM(Multi-level Marketing company) in my earlier years out here. Maybe cult is a bit dramatic but everything I know about how cults work mirrors my experience. I was in a dark, lonely place and as I came to learn that's what companies like this prey on. They bring you in with this "Stepford wife" sense of community and happiness. They "mentor" you. Help you repress your negative feelings and thoughts. Instruct you on what personal development books to read. They use subtle, manipulative ways to keep you from dissenting so they can keep taking your money. If you're not willing to spend the cash on their latest product, or the latest "Success Seminar", or whatever new thing they want you to be excited about, you're not truly "serious about being successful in life". If friends and family tell you they're concerned about your new lifestyle then "they never really cared about you in the first place".

When I finally came to the realization that I had completely lost my identity to this company I seriously felt like I had woken up from being brainwashed. In the years since, I've done everything I could to purge any evidence that this part of my life happened. I check my facebook memories every day just in case I've missed a picture or post I made about it.
