What's really going to help you with all this is learning what face structure you have, what colors go best with your eyes/hair, and what undertones you have. Those are all super important starting blocks that can help you whittle down your youtube searches.

As for shaving, shave UNDER THE WATER, as in a bath or something. Doing this and using conditioner as shaving gel will give you a very close shave. Shave with the grain and not against.
