I don't work, I go to university like 2 days a week

definitely try beta blockers okay, just look them up, they're A+ for immediate anxiety and they suppress the adrenaline response, specificially propranolol is prescribed for this. I take that shit for public speaking and I'd be a shaking red mess if I didn't, I take it like half an hour beforehand feel nothing, and it's as if I'm talking to like one person when I speak, I was shocked the first time I took propranolol. Just look into it.

I adore beta blockers. They had zero side effects for me and they're a relatively 'clean feeling' drug, the most common thing people get with propranolol is lightheadedness or low blood pressure. That's the only thing that can become a problem and even then you just adjust the dose to ease that.

Through periods where I was socially anxious they just deeeestroyed all signs of anxiety people would have been able to pick up on, even in being anxious I stopped giving off any physical signs of anxiety. Then through using them for a while I just built new associations with certain social situations after I started realising other people couldn't tell anymore and so I relaxed and felt better and they didn't feel like pressured threatening situations where I could fuck up easily, because even if I did beta blockers mostly covered it up haha.

This though wouldn't work with like, generalised anxiety, given they don't play against worries or thought processes, they just deal with adrenaline, and through time that can help social anxiety just because how you perform feeds back into maintaining it and they stop that cycle, there isn't really an equiv for generalised anxiety for them to play on because it's mostly internal shit.

For performance anxiety, like giving speecheszz, which is something I still use it for, every time I use it I'm shocked at how well they work again haha. I go into it feeling like I'm going to shake and blush and speak too quickly and just destroy myself, and immediately it's something different and I relax.

oh ty maybe this is what i need. i have a nightmare story btw. so one of the last classes i needed involved giving presentations weekly. it was so brutal every week you had to go up in front of the class and report what you did.

even further the presentations were based off this simulation and it was competitive in the class. so you had to go up and perform in front of a whole class and if you looked stupid it was even more embarrassing due to the competitive nature.

needless to say after that class ended i pretty much had a breakdown. it was anything short of sheer willpower that i finished shool. took me over 8 years to get a 4 year degree

well in general yeah i would freak out before and pretty much all day after i presented. however when i got up there i went into like a trance. i was able to speak in a clear efficient manner, mainly because the thig we had to present was basically a game. it was a business simulation so at least it was relatable.

that whole semester i had a nasty cough that i could not get rid of. so it was literally killing me to get up there and do those.
