So the controversial part is that the middle two letters are actually strongly correlated to intelligence. NT = smart. SF = less intelligent (usuallly). In the US it's illegal to use IQ in hiring because it is racist (kek), but the MBTI works as a backdoor IQ test. Of course HR says it's office fun.

It's pretty funny how well it correlates. During the class I took that was around MBTI and Big 5 it was interesting to see how often it was right.

I had a professor who made us work with a workbook that was about 50 pages straight of personality tests. I was pretty self aware so I spent most of my time bored because I knew it already.

As for the correlation when you think about it another way it makes perfect sense. Who would be smarter someone who thinks through a problem or someone who feels?
