Then again Final Fantasy Tactics is also considered a timeless classic. The Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced spinoff I like more but it is less liked in general due to it's Laws game mechanic which i personally find to just add more variety and fun into the game.

As someone who's been on this server for a little and got a decent impression of the people around I can tell you what, exactly is going on.

This isn't strictly a weeb server. There are many people here who barely watch anime / read manga or have any interest in japanese culture. There are also people who do it religiously. People talk about a lot of shit here, from anime (obviously) to fitness, programming and IRL issues. You will find people who are interested in anime, Japanese literature, music, food and so on. But if you're only interested in a certain subject and you get triggered by seeing different kinds of people this is most likely not the server for you. I will add that the moderating is pretty shit. The "rules" are pretty pointless since even some of the mods break them regularly and no one bats an eye. The guy who "owns" the server is pretty chill about everything and doesn't care much about any rules, which leaves a bunch of mods do what they please. The reason people usually get banned is that they're being dicks to someone or that they offend someone. It almost always happens to "new" people. There is some amount of hypocrisy here, I see veteran members and mods bitch and moan (and occasionally ban) when some new guy says something mildly offensive, while they themselves are being rude and unthoughtful to others. While I don't personally dislike the mods I think most of them are doing a piss-poor job at actually moderating the server. Basically they're banning people they dislike.

I get that nobody gets mad at something for no reason but consider the people who might enjoy the server despite its flaws. I myself ran a server that got a lot of shit in threads because it asked transgenders to state their biological sex in their intro (it being a sexual oriented server, with a fear that some may feel like they were catfished) but that led to those people ranting in thread about how "autistic," "homophobic" and "bigoted" I was
(God forbid I should try to aim for a demographic that isn't everyone-- which is also why I find most servers boring)

I'm just saying that if you go on a rant about the server be as detailed and objective as possible

I probably AM being pretty autistic with this fucking essay I just wrote but the tl;dr: is of you trash something you should focus on the specific things you dislike about it rather than how buttmad you were

Touhou all the way. I've finished SSiB, FS, and I'm pretty far into WaHH as far as manga goes. Currently playing the hell out of HSiFS, shit's probably the best game for years. As for anime, I enjoyed Hifuu Activity Record and A Summer Day's Dream, but I watched those a long time ago. Not a huge fan of Memories of Phantasm.
