I joined one of the discord but I felt too awkward to say anything to introduce mysel, then just forgot about it.

I keep thinking that I'm meant to be alone and any girl that shows any interest in me; has just been tricked temporarily and they'll very soon be bored of me or hate me.

The only female friend I've really ever had just recently removed me from skype and snap. I've known her for like 3 years, we've had periods of not talking for months. This is different though when I asked if she was mad she just said she's been a hermit and when I brought up snap she stopped responding.

I have irl friends, but I have trouble opening up to them. They've either been really shitty to me in the past and made me feel more intensely that there's something wrong with me, or they're even worse off than I am.

How the hell do I actually make friends, even low key low commitment online friends? Can anybody help me?
I was diagnosed with ADHD last week after my parents made me go in for neuropsych testing. I have autism, anxiety, and some depression remaining from a more severe episode of depression last year. I do not believe I have ADHD.

As a result the doctor and my parents want me to take stimulant medication. I can't stand stimulants. I've tried them recreationally and hated it, and I don't even like to drink caffeine. I have never experienced any ADHD symptoms (in my opinion)--I'm not forgetful, I never lose things, I'm not disorganized, I don't have trouble focusing. One of the symptoms they will argue I do experience if I bring this up is "reluctance to start tasks," which is (as I experience it) caused by my anxiety. I'm especially concerned about following their recommendations because stimulants can make anxiety worse.

Were you diagnosed with ADHD? When you heard that, were you relieved? Did it make sense to you? Or did you feel blindsided like I do? I can't tell if this disagreement is just my reaction, or if the diagnosis is actually wrong.

I was diagnosed as a kid with adhd and have been on various stimulants for it since I was 14 or so. They work differently for everyone, like most drugs. I'm also pretty sure I'm autistic too and trying to get a diagnosis so I can get some actual help.

there are different ways that adhd can manifest, it's basically just having low dopamine and it can cause anxiety. if you take a normal therapeutic dose of adderall like 10mg and you have adhd it is likely to relieve anxiety.
