My drunk times were last night, but I was mixing what I had around, tequila and red bull cuz I was working a bit on a game jam while I was at it. It tasted *okay*, also had a Deschutes Brewery Obsidian Stout or two.

I've only had vodka bulls, and those are shit tier enough (and in Europe they come in cans and that's fucking terrible). Deschutes makes some pretty decent stuff; I've never had the obsidian stout. Is it a milk stout or one of those cheeky barrel aged ones?

Actually it's their espresso Stout, not exactly my jam, but I wanted something dark. Didn't know they did a milk stout though, will have to try it sometime.

Oh I don't know if they do a milk stout; I was just asking what vein it was in. Most breweries either do the bourbon barrel aged or some type of milk stout and it's completely over saturated with those types now. Coffee stouts can be good but generally they're not. Porters are better for that coffee/roasted flavour IMO.

What if I'm high, instead of drunk? Am I still invited?

Porters are definitely the preference, I just ran in a couple minutes before the liquor store closed and didn't want to be that customer causing problems.

I should really start using that more, got so many good breweries in the area and I never remember what I like. I also need to stop going to the shitty small ones in my area and actually go to the stores with growler bars and what not for a real selection.

Yeah, it's definitely a good way to keep track of what you've had and what you didn't, especially if you're out at a bar and forget what you've already drank and can't remember if you liked it or not. I too am spoiled by my area.
