I'm full on weeby and I'm pretty comfortable with it, most of my few friends are weebs I just wish I had more. Nice top 5 though, I love Cohen and I used to worship Sinatra in high school when I played and (attempted) sang jazz. Also hobby I wish I had more time for tabletops these days, what specifically do you play?

>>25486080
Spoken like a true patriot. You like you some doomstar requiem I see. I rather hated it, but Metalocalypse is the shit. Shame it will probably never conclude properly.
>>25486250
He who fights with shitposters should look to it that he himself does not become a shitposter. And if you gaze long into memes, the memes also gazes into you. Don't get sucked into letting 4chan affect your life IRL basically.
>>25486604
So does everybody, I'm afraid I'll have to be the one to report. Not to meme at you or anything, but I'm making my own system at the moment. See, the group I'm planning to play with is pretty far from where I need them to be for my usual sort of thing. Sort of casual, mostly in it for roleplaying and nights of revelry with their friends. Trying to make a custom system and campaign to suit them best at the moment. I'm actually rather proud of it, at least for what it is at the moment. Used to older D&D systems, GURPS (even though I hate it), Pathfinder stuff as a player, and Shadowrun.

>>
>>25487419
Well you at least know what country you're from, and you must have read some books at the very least. Nothing wrong with being disaffected, but it's not going to garner much attention let alone any interesting responses. And without gaining attention, let's be honest, what's the point of being here? Anything else you'd care to share with the class a bit outside of the template?
>>
>>25487486
I only read books when I was a little child so no not really, and by hiding my country I wanted to prevent people from recognizing me from other threads. nvm I guess I'm just too boring to post here
>>
>>25487180
>Don't get sucked into letting 4chan affect your life IRL basically.

I guess the chart was just so filled with things that really don't lead to any significant paths to a worthwhile conversation, at least not any with me. I was simply replying to each and every chart, so I would feel remiss to skip one rather than just leave no comment to ensure nobody felt as if I had skipped them intentionally. The closest thing I could get to a worthwhile response is "I don't like either of the personalities, but cooking shows, in general, are cool." or "Old Blizzard. Nice." as if that were any better.

You also seem like a decent person. Not to tip in your general direction too hard, but I'm sort of shocked a young woman who is not fat, standard acceptable girl high, very straigh, smart, creative, and wealthy (albeit by their own definition, of course) who seems to have their shit together and is altogether interesting is a single virgin. Is that by choice or are you just profoundly introverted. My ID keeps changing because I'm a wheeler and dealer, but these two tags are me.

I'm a virgin for a multitude of reasons. Partly by choice, partly because of my social/physical ineptitudes, and partly because of circumstance. I don't think being a <20 year old virgin is that uncommon anyway, at least not where I'm from. I figured that chart was yours, you're a pretty cool dude with very good taste. Sort of straight to the point though, asking about my virginity right off the bat
>>
>>25498688
Why don't you ever respond on kik?
>>
>>25499740
I respond to people based off of what they say to me, I want to talk to people who I think are interesting or who I'll get along with
Maybe I just didn't think we'd be compatible
>>
>>25499726
Yeah, I'm not really big on following social norms. You're right to assume that being a virgin at that age is common, I think. I'm from Las Vegas and everybody here is a degenerate nutjob, so maybe that colors my view of the world. I was more curious about you being single. Have you had relationships in the past? Oh, and thank you. I appreciate the compliment. I could talk to you about Bojack, The Twilight Zone, and the Boondocks literally until the end of time. Could I get your favorite episodes from each and why?
>>
>>25499754
I've been to Las Vegas before and it's hard for me to imagine that people other than Elvis impersonators and prostitutes live there. Maybe that's because I've only ever seen the Strip. I live in a very religious military town so a lot of people I know are the kind who don't want to have sex until marriage. That's not my reason at all, but the culture out here doesn't really shame people for being virgin because of it. I've never had a relationship, again, for a multitude of reasons. For Bojack, I loved the underwater episode because they had to get really creative with showing emotion and action without dialogue. Also, the ending of that episode killed my heart. It's hard to choose a favorite Boondocks episode, but I think I'd go with The Block is Hot because of all the Do The Right Thing references (that movie is one of my all time favorites, no space for it on the chart). Nightmare at 20,000 feet is my favorite Twilight Zone episode because I saw it when I was really young and it made my first plane ride a living nightmare. Good times
>>
>>25499770
Excellent. To be fair, your perception of Vegas is not far off. Life is, for the most part, normal as it is everywhere in a first world advanced economy, but it is the perfect environment to become hedonistic and jaded, perhaps only outdone by New York. Even the normies here have a bit of Elvis impersonator or prostitute in them, no exceptions. I think most Bojack fans would answer with the underwater episode, but you're not without good reason in saying so. I think the block is hot is actually a better Do the Right Thing than Do the Right Thing, and that's the double truth, Ruth. There are so many good episodes of that show, not a lot of answers would have been wrong. Other than some shit from season 4, which I refuse to acknowledge. I know it's a little cliche, but I'd probably go with Eye of the Beholder myself. Although Nightmare at 20000 feet did a number on me as well. Hospitals are my airplanes.

Yeah, asking to send emails to a disclosed address is a little unorthodox, but I feel like emails are more personal than 4chan boards. Seems like an odd thing to email somebody straight off the bat unsolicited. As for writing paragraphs, everything I wrote was relevant, and I think the usual unspoken rule of communicating by half a phrase at a time here on 4chan is inefficient and leads to an inherent lack of depth to the conversation. Oh, and this is the internet. I have literally most of the porn on the planet, if I was looking to look at a naked girl, this would be a really roundabout way of doing so. If you're going to criticize people for trying to initiate conversation based on common interest and request a means of mutual contact, you're literally on the only board, and to a further extent, on the very thread, where that makes the least amount of sense.

ROME is a great band if you don't like the allusions to nazism, they're also the best English speaking band in my opinion with Jerome's masterful usage of the English language in creating emotional soundscapes that fully compliment the historical periods he choose to investigate, combined with great musicianship and atmospheric samples taken from said period which greatly enhance the performance, the most accessible ROME album is "A Passage to Rhodesia". I personally quite like Nature and Organisation's first album "Beauty Reaps the Blood of Solitude", which features guests from across the British neofolk scene. Of the Wand & the Moon are also pretty good, and Blood Axis are fun if you can stand some of the blatant sampling. Sturmpercht are my favourite non English speaking neofolk group, their music sounds wonderfully alpine and German. The American band Changes is a far cry from modern neofolk, however they were essentially in pioneering the genre and their album orphan in the storm is a very enjoyable American take on the genre.
>>
>>25500411
You used verbose incorrectly, it's a pejorative.
>>
>>25500499
essential in pioneering the genre*
>>
>>25500480
Haven't published anything and don't plan on tossing my work out there just yet. But I can give some general recommendations.

The Garden of Forking Paths—Jorge Luis Borges. Required reading. Can't get through any respectable university without reading this or at least something else by Borges.

The Book of Disquiet—Fernando Pessoa. An intriguing assemblage of moments from a fictional Lisbon publishing clerk mixed with bits of philosophy and literary theory.

Michel de Montaigne—On Cannibals. Best justification of cannibalism you can find out there. Pretty short.

Without Sky—Vladislav Surkov (Natan Dubovitsky) Short story by the Chechen-born advisor to Vladimir Putin published under a pseudonym and officially denied by Surkov as his own work. An interesting inside view into not only Russian politics, but also the worldwide surge in populism.

Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus—Ludwig Wittenstein. I'm mentally exhausted now, no description, but very important.

Beyond Good and Evil—Friedrich Nietzsche

The Upanishads and the Bhagavad Gita. I personally want to learn more about Indian philosophy but these have been very helpful for me.
>>
>>25500499
I love the allusions to Nazism, man! But anyway, ROME sounds like they'd be right up my alley; I'm a sucker for anything historically themed + tasteful use of samples. I'll definitely check all of these out, I've been dying for some new music
>>
