Hey, I'm ENTJ and supposedly INTP is a perfect match to that. Actually makes some sense, our internal thought processes are the same (intuitive thinking) but with the classic ying and yang of the E/I, I would be more of a 'bottom line' person with the 'J' while you're more of a nuts and bolts with the 'P'.

I have long had an image of being a Roman emperor, ranting and raving about the day spent at the senate, you relaxing and reflecting on what I talk about, offering critique and advice that is useful and calming before I sit down with you and we lovingly kiss.

Rationals are always branded as socially retarded, but in my opinion it's just that the interests are different than the interests of other personality types when we open our mouth. As only 10% are rationals and the interests differ one can feel socially retarded but this feel diminishes when you are with other rationals - or if you encounter people that are ACTUALLY socially retarded.

What do we need to do to succeed? One of my biggest goals along with learning a language is to just stop and focus instead of thinking of new shit every moment and starting things I'll never end.

You can be an E if you want, it's just a simple leap of faith. Internally, you're an I, but there's obvious perks to being an E.

I have thought about taking the leap to E, and have dipped my toes in the water.I think it really depends on your life situation/environment. I don't necessarily crave the company of people, but I understand the value of meeting a top-quality person (this was why I thought about transforming into an E).

So for those that may have any resentment toward themselves for being shy or quiet or internal; have a serious look at what you want out of life, figure out what gets you excited (for most INTJ's out there, it will probably be stupidly obvious to you... but I don't know any other INTJs, so don't grill me for this) then focus on that. If being charismatic is involved in your world domination plan, then you better remember that being an internal dweeb is a privilege, not a right.

Cement a little everyday (focus on your shit) rather than adding fertilisers (don't be someone your not cos you think it will give you what you want). My two cents, hope this helps someone.
