Tbh I think age is just as important as the other fields on there that are enlarged. I can hardly even read the age section from hover. I like your idea with the colours, but if you're going with that, then it isn't really necessary to have the sex, gender, and orientation parts taking up so much space.

I'm assuming not everyone is going to follow the colour code.
the most important parts are the sexuality
Age and other attributes are secondary importance
also do you know how large the age bar would be if I made it thumbnail visible?
