I don't mean to hijack OP's thread but I wanted to second her response because as a tall girl, the insecurity men go through over their height really bugs me.

The height stigma was created and reinforced by men. "Manlet" was a term created by guys. There are girls out there that are really shallow about height but they're in the minority. Both genders have little physical things they they like to use against people from their gender group.
