We are a group of people who experience issues interacting with others, from social-anxiety to agoraphobia. We founded this server to provide a low-stress environment for others like ourselves to have casual social interaction.
>What is the purpose of this server?
This server is for social outcasts / shut ins who want a comfortable space to socially interact with others.
>How is this different than the other discord servers with a similar theme?
This server focuses on maintaining a small group of users, between 25-75 active members. The purpose for this is to create an environment that's more akin to a hang out rather than a large sea of strangers that happens so often in larger servers. In other words, we want to create a tight knit community of people who know and enjoy the company of each other.
>How do you maintain this number of users?
Members who are inactive / idle for long periods of time (days/weeks) will be kicked from the server. This may seem harsh, but understand that if you're the type to idle in servers and lurk, this place isn't really for you.
>What are the different channels for?
#general is for casual conversation.
#serious-discussion is for politics and debates. (Keep that stuff out of general please.)
#off-topic is for shitposting and memery
#venting-and-support is for venting frustrations in your life, and emotional support. (Be kind to eachother in the channel)
#nsfw is for nsfw content, please keep pornographic content contained to that channel.
>Is this a safe space?
No, we welcome and encourage the debate and discussion of ideals, while I can understand how some may view a server like this as a safe space for social outcasts, we are not interested in creating divisions between people merely for the sake of "our secret club". That being said, please remember that there's a difference between disagreeing with someone and disrespecting them.

If the server gains enough members we are planning to do some streaming events, watching movies and shows together, etc.
Currently the only stuff we do together is playing games from time to time and bitching about our days.
