I'm very in love with my partner. But they are asexual and have a lot of mental health problems, along with being one of the wisest fuckers I know. But sometimes I just dont understand him. Relationships are about compatibility, yes, but they're also about compromise. You should never resort to "just break up" as the first piece of advice unless it's a dire case such as abuse or lots of fighting.
