Not sure if exactly natsoc, but Christian fundamentalist to the point where I have no hate for anyone, judgement is for god but suffering is for the flesh

I know you said you were not sure about natsoc but as a Christian Socialist... dozens of us?
>>25280589
>Christian fundamentalist
friendly reminder that there is one Church and there is no salvation outside it
>>25280631
I guess I should rephrase, I mean it in the sense that I believe in the entirety of scripture and it is the ultimate truth and God's judgement will be harsh for sinners
>>25280620
Dozens of what? I don't understand
>>25280690
then I pray you find your way to finish the Sacraments of Initiation and become Catholic.

The church of Christ is universal and encompasses believers whether they join a church or not, it is faith in Christ and his salvation that matters.
>>25280930
it's universal in that it's offered to all of humanity.
it is not universal in that everyone is a part of it.
salvation comes thru Christ but is dispensed thru the Church, which is plainly stated in the Bible and was upheld by the Church Fathers as plainly stated in the Sacraments.
idk why this is so difficult for protestants to understand.

Nice thread you commie fuck.

I have never seen anything from Christ that has led to to believe that those who accept Christ but are not blessed by a priest or join a specific church are not christians.

Mt 12:30, 16:18-19?
i never understood people who abide by sola scriptura but think that everything ends with the gospel of john. like it's clear that the Apostles were given a mission and the Paraclete was sent to help them, and Paul goes out of his way to establish a theology centered around Christ and his Body on earth, which is the Church. you are covered by invincible ignorance but ultimately the Sacraments dispensed by the Church are the only guaranteed method of salvation because they came from God Himself.

It's clear that catholics are led by an apostate pope and have lost any claim to primacy since the Great Schism.
In addition the early Church was never subject to the authority of a leader in Rome.
>>25281091
Personally for me, I fail to see how Peter being declared the rock of the church translates to the holy roman catholic church having a monopoly on dispensing the sacraments. Mt 18:20 leads me to believe that is not so. Also what about all the churches that Paul helped establish? I haven't had a Catholic willing to talk to me so if you know the answer I would very much appreciate it. Thank you for your reply.
Hitler did nothin wrong in my opinion

>the Pope is an apostate
>the Holy Spirit is protecting the Church from falling into apostasy
human beings are fallible, the Church is not.
Eastern Orthodoxy is a mess of semi-ethnic ecclesial communities and their argument against the primacy of the Bishop of Rome is undone by eastern emperors affording the Bishop of Rome primacy over the Bishop of Constantinople, so. . .
>the early Church was never subject to the authority of a leader in Rome.
already by the second century there are clear writings from both Latin and Greek Fathers stressing the primacy of the bishop of Rome as the successor of Peter, so no, that's also incorrect. Ss. Ignatius, Irenaeus and Cyprian all wrote about this.

validity of Sacraments comes primarily from apostolic succession (or in the case of Baptism, as long as there's water and its done with the Trinitarian formula then it's valid, regardless, by merit of the Sacrament itself)
only a handful of groups can claim to have valid apostolic succession, and it's really only the Catholics and Orthodox
but the primacy of the Bishop of Rome by merit of being Peter's successor had been established within a few centuries of Jesus' death (see above) and was maintained from the apostolic age up until the time of the great schism, which was more about the byzantine empire's desire to cling to relevance in the face of continual military losses to the turks.
Paul established churches, yes, but again, from the time of the apostles it was understood that those founded by Peter were the most important, again by merit of Mt 16:18, and as the place of his martyrdom Rome was the most important of all
