Also pic related is in the works, a very very experimental taste of what I suppose would be the first truly personal request/fantasy I would post (if it gets done). Scary! Not very sexy yet, I wonder if there would be interest for it.

I second the linking. Scripts. We are thirst for inspiration, hungry for words to speak. Give us your words so that we can give voice to the aching feelings you need to hear.

In fact, I will put in a request, in the form of a Mad libs. I suggested in the last thread that I crosspost in /tg/, and people seemed not against it, so lets do that.

"It is a (adjective) time in the land of (metal)-shire. The (adjective) forces of Lord (badguy) (verb)s the land, and war (verb)s closer every day. A call goes out for (small group noun) with (noun) to rise up. Will you answer that call?"

Oh i know that 1st feeling only too well. I cannot listen to the link (no clypit account), but i hope your personal reasons are of a good nature (like a b/g friend telling you to stop recording because you should focus on her/him). I don't know what state of mind you are in, leaving like this, but if you are like me you will not be able to resist coming back (even if it's only when you are completely drunk, i don't know why i always wanted to record a thousand scripts when i was drunk).

A little trick, if you want more listens (not necessarily more answers though), post on reddit Gonewildaudio (or GWA). Depending on what you think you might feel kind of like a ( attention) whore for doing that, but my listeners skyrocketed when i did that (one of my last recording had more listen in a day than 4months old ones, and on the same subject...).

Anyway, good luck for the future, and, as we say where I live, COIN COIN

Thank you so much for that quote. I'm going to go back to listen to all the Amontillado recordings when I have the time to do it right. Sorry to have rushed you in the midst of that weekend. I have to say, for condescension not being your thing, you really make it sound fantastic. I can never really get enough. I would have thought you enjoyed it more from your past recordings.
>Challenged with the male submission side... finding a script that I find speaks to me is difficult
I think it might help us with those if you talk about what DOES draw you in? You've mentioned for both dom and sub audios that it takes a specific kind of script.
>Is there an audience for it... there's the exoticness of Azurenightsky doing an msub audio
That's really not what it's about. Sure it's a fun stick to poke at someone who normally doms, but I only really care about that as a joke. We just don't have msub content in any kind of significant numbers. And yes, I recognize part of that is a lack of requests. You have a passion for it, which is enough to make it interesting. Even what you mentioned about the dom voice coming through - if it must, then let it. That's what's natural, so it sounds good. Sparks plenty of ideas, too; it's *interesting.*

I didn't know how to add to my last reply in this comment (or how to keep it in character limit), but if I could have one off-topic REQUEST in this thread, could we get some support for Voodoo >>25224279 ? We have a chance for once to do it before the thing happens rather than rushing to offer late words after the fact.

The recording will only take you a few minutes to listen to, and if there's anything we all owe to this thread as a whole it's to tell our performers how much they mean to us, and especially this one who gives so much.

I don't have the words to say what needs to be said, but in this case, maybe, quantity could make up just a little bit for quality.

You sound like you might enjoy the works of Camus, he attempts to tackle some of the nihilism in the world by positing that despite the insanity of attempting to find meaning in this world, one can simply choose to be happy despite it all. He was a man who allegedly lived life to its fullest despite feeling that life itself is almost a political discussion on whether or not one should commit to suicide.

Despite how depressing he may sound in that description, he posits some very interesting philosophical points that may alleviate your dire time.

The version of "Stan" with Elton performed live is honestly a real treat.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G4DE2f-u3wg

They play surprisingly well together. In an interview, Elton said that Marshal is one of the warmest people he ever knew. That the persona of "Slim Shady" is an unabashed Homophobe but that it's a persona, it doesn't the least bit exemplify the kind of man Marshall is.

Alright now that I'm awake, first of all, there is no way for you to go on for too long. Look around at where you are. And especially with a recording like this. But thank you for that praise, it's really something. I don't get a lot of it outside here so if I'm a little eager for it, well, now everyone knows why.
As for pacing the script - no worries, I agree with you completely. You're only catching one of my biggest and most longstanding gripes with it. I tried to fix as much as I could but I accept that it's still noticeable. I'm definitely interested in writing more like it and really smoothing that part out to give it a good burn. I've had a lot of msub in my drafts since before I even wrote that script, but that half of it was the first I ever actually posted, so it is certainly what I'd call an early prototype. I have this little perfectionism thing that makes me start a lot of things but never finish them, and in the face of that possibility I've been actively trying to teach myself to get out *something* even if I'm only partially happy with it, as opposed to nothing at all.
>It's better to be thought of a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
I like that philosophy. It's always been my natural go-to, that's my comfort zone. But it hasn't served me very well in my academic life, where you have a certain obligation to expose how much of a fool you are. I know that comes as no surprise to you lol, so it's nice to see someone else feeling the same way about this.
>There are some twisted audio scripts out there that I am contemplating
I have no doubt that you would be willing to record far more than I would be willing to write. (No promises but) I would like to write more, though even so I wouldn't expect anything too extreme from my scripts.
>Absolutely certain there are... women who would adore hearing more [msub]
Me. That's me. Right here
>>
>>25226025
>>25224473
>Or even going as far as you do and just writing a script
Now, this is where we get into a bit of the trouble. Writing Reversal was fun because, even though I put a lot of personal preferences in there, you requested it with a very specific goal. Juci's script was fun because she requested it, and gave such a great description, and I loved the opportunity to give her something nice. But writing my *own* requests, is... very much the opposite. It's far easier for me to work with an outside prompt.
>If they want me to open up more to others, in my mind it's not quite the same thing as me trying to open up of my own volition.
Yeah, this makes a lot of sense. It's not quite the way I approach it in my own life, but I definitely get what you mean.
>I don't usually praise the script authors very often
I noticed you did it for Ice and Fire in one recording. That one was well deserved, so I'm trying to accept the compliment.
>I hope I didn't gush too much
Nice to have the tables turned for once! Usually it's me.
>I believe I've alluded to it in the past
Yep. If you want to talk more about it you're welcome to, but I generally don't make it my business to go around asking.
>>25225161
>just assume everyone posts on pastebin under anon
I am way way way way too controlling for that. Can't delete anything, a million permanent files not listed anywhere, can't get feedback and go edit your own script, can't move things around between files? Nope. Not for me.
>>
>>25226031
>I am way way way way too controlling for that.

Yeah, I can certainly see that ;P But I've never used pastebin for anything other than script reads, I've never had to directly interface with it. Makes sense that an anon one wouldn't be able to be organized and that a username goes around that issue and allows for people to be better equipped for actually doing things with their pastebin, I think it's one of those moments where my brain just wasn't firing on all cylinders.

>you requested it with a very specific goal.

>I have this little perfectionism thing that makes me start a lot of things but never finish them, and in the face of that possibility I've been actively trying to teach myself to get out *something* even if I'm only partially happy with it, as opposed to nothing at all.

I find that Perfect is the Enemy of Good. Wheh you produce something "good" it isn't simply saying "Fuck it, good enough." It's presenting something with a fair amount of shine and polish, maybe not to the levels of perfection, but getting it to perfect has dramatic reduction in terms of benefit:time spent ratio. There's no shame in something simply being "good" as opposed to perfect.

>Me. That's me. Right here

Then you'd better not make me draw my sub out to beg for you to write up a few more msub scripts ;) Those are painfully hard to find.(Or I'm blind and they're obvious and I can't see them.

For anyone who has been listening to my rambles, I thought it might interest you to know.

It's a boy, Nathaniel-Logan is expected to be born in early October if not late September. he's going to be the little brother to my little girl and I can't wait to meet him, to see him grow, to see what kind of man he grows into, just like I can't wait to see what kind of Woman my little girl becomes.

It's certainly not a normal part of these kinds of threads for sure, but given how I've been feeling more and more like a part of a community around these parts, it feels right to share the good news.

I hope everyone has an excellent day, or at least, the best day one can hope to have given your individual circumstances, whatever they may be.

I don't want to make anyone have to upload multiple versions, but my personal preference would be to have one version that ends at line 70. No hate on the script - it actually rounds out much more nicely if you do read the whole thing, I just prefer something that is happier rather than somber-er right now. Then we could also have complete versions of it because I'm sure eventually I'll want to hear that as well.

<<Requesting this poem~>>

When you start to know someone, all their physical characteristics start to disappear. You begin to dwell in their energy, recognize the scent of their skin. You see only the essence of the person, not the shell. That’s why you can’t fall in love with beauty. You can lust after it, be infatuated by it, want to own it. You can love it with your eyes and your body but not your heart. And that’s why, when you really connect with a person’s inner self, any physical imperfections disappear, become irrelevant.

Your writing style is more fluid than previous scripts, indeed, this wound up being a one take deal. Only criticism would be that more stage directions around if the performer should be getting off IRL or not (and when they should start fapping) would have been nice. Other than that, another brilliant script. :)

>U-um, I did not know you were writing something like this.
Well, someone mentioned it last thread, and the notion of sex under the stars does appeal quite strongly, so I did want to write a script. Didn't work out, although, while I was doing my vocal warm ups this morning the thought of how to do it did pop into my head, so hopefully that will be along in the not too distant.
>Does this mean we should also expect some of the other changes to your accounts that you mentioned?
Possibly. I'm still umming and ahhing about it, though at the very minimum I'm going to be going through and filtering out/privating poems that are out of copyright so I can use them on youtube.

I am also putting together another SCP recording... I've got most of the bits recorded, have got to finish recording, then edit everything together complete with redactions and come up with some sound effects.

Also, fucking hell but was soc screwing me around (seemingly on character limit) in posting this lot...

Woohoo congrats Helion. I forgot we have actual daddy here hehe.

An a little update because i said i would. So i am out of the hospital with a brand new synthetic testicule (i'm beginning my journey to a bionic body, singularity here i come!), and a big bandage that is going to take "some" hair with it in a few days. The results of the blood tests(?) are negative, which is a very good sign, the odds of the tumor being cancerous is much smaller like that. I'll know more next week once they'll have run a series of tests on the sample they took out.
But i might not need anymore treatment (or maybe i will), the good thing with testicular cancer is that there isn't "bad" pronostic anymore, it's often good, or sometime mitigated (not sure about that term either)
>>
>>25229584
Mitigated in this use means the damage is manageable or noticeably smaller than it used to be. We've developped the ability to reduce or in some cases outright remove most of the damage that would have normally occurred.

And that's great news that everything is coming back positive - of course, to the best of the ability all things considered. Congrats on being one step closer to the singularity. Hive mind awaits!
>>
>>25229553
If you're going to beg then do it right, I say. ;)
That's only a scratch. You provided all the material here, I've just worked it. But I am glad you did, and very relieved to hear you like it. The stuff you've said in the past about playing with psychology has been my longest-standing favorite anything, so I can't emphasize enough that this script, from start to finish, was truly my pleasure. I'll be overjoyed to hear it.

>>25229584
Congrats on being out! You spent less time in there than I did when I broke my hand, and I didn't even get the bionic knuckles they promised me so you're ahead on that one.

>The stuff you've said in the past about playing with psychology has been my longest-standing favorite anything

I've always had a fascination with Psychology and Philosophy, even from a young age. My mother gave me very, distresful lessons in the application of psychology, I think that's where some of my respect for it come from, having seen the effects, I try not to rely on it too much, it feels a bit perverse, having the ability to change the minds of those around me without their realizing. It's also why I tend to hold back my Dom side at times, particularly in 1 on 1 sessions.

My submissive side is no less desiring of the psychological side of things, he craves what everyone else does, to be seduced, to be laid claim upon, to be ripped from his burdens, if only for a few resplendent moments.

It's getting easier to place myself in his mindset, knowing there's an audience that desires his presence. Thank you.

Sounds familiar.
>I try not to rely on it too much, it feels a bit perverse, having the ability to change the minds of those around me without their realizing.
It seems powerful, to be sure. I won't try to compete because I certainly haven't been through any of what you have, but it does sound like you have a good stance on restricting it - in a similar vein, I realized pretty early on that I had this sort of "sense" for the perfect things to say to hurt (or get through to) people, and being a kid of course, constantly choosing to reign it in eventually resulted in quite the temper issues. Nowadays it's more mellow. I wouldn't say I "wield" anything out of the ordinary.
But just from limited experience, I absolutely believe that it would also be hot as fuck to hear you do it.
>My submissive side is no less desiring of the psychological side of things
I hope I can continue to write fitting things then, and preferably in a way that does not recall your first teacher.
>It's getting easier to place myself in his mindset, knowing there's an audience that desires his presence. Thank you.
I thought it was a treat earlier to hear your compliments of the scripts, but this - this is the best. Nothing can beat this.

>Why Don’t We Go?
I love the ending to this. I don’t know how things are over there on your end of the internet, but you’ve made at least one person’s day better with this one.

>An Unyielding Wind
Your evil laughs are the best. You do creepy so wonderfully. I really want to hear you do a true horror script….It’s August, that’s almost Halloween, right?

>Stars Above
I was absolutely not expecting this- more Helion poetry in the future, maybe? The full “sex under the stars” script sounds lovely too.

>Sometimes it Rains
First, thank you. Second, thank you. This was just as lovely as I hoped it would be, and any flaws left are my own. I found a couple scripts I liked and then pretty much pilfered their format, so that’s why the style changed. I find it really cringy to listen to my own scripts, but I will most definitely be coming back to this in the future once I’ve had a chance to forget what I’ve written.

Regarding stage directions: I know. I have a really hard time with them, because I feel like so much of SA is organic and comes from the performer. It’s hard for me to say “you should be fapping now” because
1. What if it’s not sexy at all and there’s no way anyone could get off to this? And
2. What if it is sexy and now is the wrong time?

I think writing “plz don’t fap to this script” would be even worse, because in theory, this is *sexy* audio, and if anything I have ever written actually *is* arousing, what bigger compliment could there be?

I also find obviously fake moaning/orgasming/whatever to be a huge turn-off, although that’s more of a personal quirk than anything else. Do you have any examples of scripts with good stage directions I could steal from?

(Character limit? What's that?)
>>
>>25232841
Pardon my butting in again...
>I found a couple scripts I liked and then pretty much pilfered their format, so that’s why the style changed.
I really liked that, actually. It's... dynamic? It's kind of like how I would *imagine* a fantasy if I didn't have to write it.
>I find it really cringy to listen to my own scripts,
Absolutely the same for me. It's why I haven't really posted anything written wholly for myself without an outside prompt (>>25229186 being a minor exception), because I know even the best read will still be marred by the fact that *I* wrote it. That goes even more so when you're writing neutral or dom scripts, because the whole point is that it's what they're supposed to be saying to you *without* you predicting/controlling it, and definitely without your mistakes. This is why I've been really happy to see multiple people writing scripts lately. My ideal would be if one of the writers has a strong request of their own that they could have the option to ask someone else to write it, so they could have the fantasy and get to enjoy it.
>but I will most definitely be coming back to this in the future once I’ve had a chance to forget what I’ve written.
Yeah that's what I've been doing. It gets easier, too. Once you get used to hearing your own writing multiple times over, you can get your cringe out in the beginning and then it's a little easier to tune yourself out and listen to the speaker and believe them.

Don't know what to say about stage directions. I also do not have the answers to this.

Or anyone else who might be willing to work this into something a little subtler or more detailed? This premise is really really up my alley... like all the way the fuck up in there. I will still love it if you just read it straight through the way it's written, but if you're willing to improv a bit: I can go for a little less of the (crazy) and a little more of the (amused threatening). A bit of laughter is fine, but not so much Joker as... I didn't want to put it this way, but, hunter? I like line 8, the "give me a sign" in line 9, especially line 13. Any details like that are welcome.
Also if anyone happens to know other scripts like this, let me know.

>>25234587
Don't worry too much about it. I know it was.

>>25235229
Maybe just that all the stuff you've read so far is so nice and makes me happy. Better Bent Than Broken is my favorite, but the lotr one is also A+ for other reasons.
But after this post, it's also because that Beautiful Lies read was so well done. You really put good emotion into it. Varied the voice and everything.

>>25235349
Ahh thank you Wamuu <3 I liked the second half the most, I think you found more of your rhythm there. And yes, give me the ramble. Always.

>>25236163
I don't mind that you tried something that's not your favorite, a lot of people do. Your voice is very clear.
>>
>>25236614
Yes please! This is a brilliant idea. Especially if you had different rain sounds for each part of the script.... the problem with all these great recordings is the ideas it gives me after the fact :P I’m not gonna ask you to do it over… but I wish I had thought to write that into the script. That would also have fixed the tense issue I kept having (and beating my head into the wall over).

>>25237085
Nope, but I'm absolutely terrible at accents. For shits and giggles, I guess.... Portugal?

>>25237080
I'm a sucker for a Southern accent. Damn.
This was such a fitting read for your voice, too. I have a couple things in mind if you want something in a similar vein to record.

Checked what i could find. Its first written down under this name in 1919 by a famous swedish musiscisian and poet. He named it a night time song for (his son) Carl. This song is the one that in common word is known as "Byssan lull". The melody seems to be really old and has just gotten new lyrics countless of times over the years and also i assume some variances inbetween. The name of the song in Swedish would be "Fiskeskärsmelodin" and this i could find printed down back to 1813. No peculiar stories at first glance. In 1893 lyrics were printed to accompany the melody. It describes how a trip to 'fiskeskär', which possible can refer to a rather large portion of Swedens middle east coast.

The lyric from 1893, hastly translated.

"Row, Row Towards Fiskeskär"

"Row, Row to Fiskeskär
Plenty of fish we will get there
Salmons are big,
The breams are tasty.
Stab one in the neck,
Put one in the sack,
And one each hidden for jul/christmas and påsk/easter"

Sorry for going a little astray. I agree that the melodies are somewhat haunting for me aswell. Its probably why theyve stuck the best in my memory. The lyrics in "Byssan lull" is methaphorical comparssion between different examples of 'things that come in three'. Gives it some depth and I think it fits perfectly with the melody.

>>25236973
Yes! Definitely better tone. I like this.

>>25237085
Not heavy enough of an accent for me to figure out. As long as we're making a fool out of ourselves, my guess is somewhere closer to Sweden, though probably not exactly there.

Or you could record your answers to the questions for new guys, or just yourself elaborating on what kinds of things you'd like to record. Helps people know what to ask and what you can contribute.

Your voice is nice, it feels like you're trying to make it sound deeper that it is.
If you're still taking singing requests, here's mine:

"I'll be there waiting with a hook in your neck
Is the contact you've made deficient?
And your hand will break if you touch this fence
Please them 'til they're blind with cleft lens"

P.S. anyone, who wants to try this request as well, is welcomed. I'd like to hear other people on this thread sing

Oh now that's just sinful. To end it like that...Naughty naughty. But, I'll certainly enjoy performing it.

No promises on it working out well though, I'm not the most confident in my insane voice - But who knows, you might enjoy it all the same.

>>25237659
>Don't worry too much about it. I know it was.

Still bugs me, I'm not often so open with others.

I'm hoping to get a chance to do the sub request soon, hoping to have a good opportunity for that other recording as well, the one with the dildo. It's tricky though, because the damn thing takes prep work and a few hours of actual alone time, there's a certain kind of mental preparation a toy of that size requires. But, the end result...Deliciously worth it, as a Dom I have to say at least.
>>
>>25240552
I was hoping you might say that.
I didn't want to constrain the request too much because the audios posted so far have been true to the original and I absolutely love them, but assuming you haven't recorded it yet, I would actually prefer to do away with the angry/insane voice/laughter altogether. I'm much more drawn to the sane but dark, the one that's frightening because it knows exactly what it's doing and loves it. Contained but barely. You have a great line in that very early "Earn Your Place" recording that goes, "I love hearing a pretty girl panic," but very calm and collected - that's the mood I like.

I agree, the ending is the worst sort of cliffhanger and I would have a lot of fun with a rewrite and extension, but 1) it would take a while and 2) while it might gain some things, it would also lose something by me doing that. Considering this is the only script of the sort that I've really seen so far, I would really like to have at least one that doesn't come out of my own brain.

Help me out, though - how *should* it end? With a longer chase? Description of the capture? Going all the way through punishment? That would be a *very* long recording. I was hoping if I get a good taste for it with this script, maybe I'd be more inspired to write sequels with some of those ideas in the future.
>Or convince someone to improv them for me.
So what were you thinking about the ending?

>Other recordings
I'm in no rush. I'm grateful you want to do them at all, and it's absolutely worth it. I am curious, though. Why not choose a smaller toy? Don't get me wrong, I am very impressed. But it does sound... intimidating.

Also, I hadn't noticed until now but I appear to be... severely hogging your requests. Sevenish of the last eleven recordings, plus more on the way? I am ashamed of my own self. Not sure there's anything to be done about it, though.
>>
>>25238548
Feel better, anon.

>>25238946
I don't know, but thaaaank you so much! That was very enthusiastic. I'm so glad I requested it and I'll definitely go back to it a few more times.

>>25239404
Misty Mountains is always nice to hear. I get what you mean about the low notes, though. I thought the first half of this >>25239427 was the best of the three you posted in that respect.

>>25239715
Damn, Voodoo. Everyone tells you to take it easy and you respond by putting yourself in physical pain to fap. It was hot as hell, though. Thank you for that... effort. I've listened through a few times.

>>25240305
Anon, I'm still not entirely sure I believe you, with that cheeky smile and all. But yes, I did enjoy them. You definitely got me interested.
>>
>>25240845
>Why not choose a smaller toy?

Because it would be easy. It wouldn't have the same effect and it wouldn't stand out as much to the listener. It's...really hard to describe the difference between the two and the effects they have. On the one hand, the smaller toy is reasonably sized, roughlythe size of a big cock, this other toy is a monster, it releases a very...specific side of myself, it lets out a completely different version. It is uniquely capable of creating it, therein lies the challenge.

You'll understand why in due time :3

>I'm much more drawn to the sane but dark,

That's more in line with my abilities. The script itself is sadistic in the way it takes its time, it pressures you, makes you wonder, ponder, think, it builds on the anxiety and feeds into the Adrenalin. It's quite well suited to my mood of late.

>how *should* it end

Ideally, with a good hard fuck, beastial, animalistic, unflinchingly aggressive. But that's very difficult to convey in a recording, the raw desire, the animalistic need, the passion. I think, as a script, it should end there, as a role play, it's simply the beginning.

>I appear to be... severely hogging your requests.

I don't mind, you've found a certain part of my mind that likes the game, which draws out a more genuine, more real performance, which in turn is going to be more enjoyed by others. I see it as a win-win.

That being said, I do hope others aren't afraid of requesting things from me as well, I rather enjoy knowing there's someone who wants to hear me perform "x'. It illicits a more genuine response, as well.

This took me a really inexcusably long time to reply to; I'm sorry. So, regarding the Deadbolt recordings: In Splish Splash, at 1:02 you say "haven't" and the way you pronounce the “t” in this is almost a re-articulation. It's very crisp and clean; it reminds me of a “proper” English “t”.
I think Southern is hard to nail down in an audio format because a lot of the accent comes through slurring and generally what’s considered “poor” diction, and that’s hard to balance with the need to keep things clean and easy to comprehend. I think maybe another thing to focus on would be tempo and pacing? Again, this is hard to balance with the feeling of panic and dread you’re going for.
In Docks Again, in the first 10 seconds or so you say “splinters”, and your t is much more subtle there.

All memes aside, all w/e aside, your role in existence literally cannot be filled by someone else. There are billions of people in this world, idek how many people are born or die in a day but the fact is that whatever situation you find yourself in, your life is not an empty seat to be filled, it isn't a part in a song that anyone can play, it is your life. No one can "take your place" or "fill your role" because that would be their "role", not yours.

Whatever your life situation, only you can play your part. If the whole world is a stage and each man a player who struts and frets his hour upon the stage, then fret like you're the damn emperor, strut like no one else matters, give the world something to look back on and go "yeah, that's what I want my life to look like." Who gives a fuck if you're not a CEO of some fortune 500 or even a window washer. Make an impact in the lives of people around you, not by your deathm but by how people miss you when you aren't around, how people wish you were there to talk to, to shoot guns or shoot hoops with, to get high as fuck with and look at the stars at night with. If our lives are full of sound and fury, signifying nothing then make your sound and fury stand out through your interactions with others and when you die of old age or cancer or violent crime or hunger or some freak act of god, make people say " I wish Anon were here, they always knew the right thing to say, the perfect joke for any situation, the best advice about life and love."

Be a fucking legend in a tiny social circle and give people the hope you wish you had, the joy you wish you felt and the meaning you can't find for yourself. Death is not a solace, it is not your friend, it is not an answer. It is only the end of one phase of your existence.
T. some slightly drunk anon who wishes you Godspeed on your crazy journey.

Well, here's the original finnish version and a rough english translation of the second one:

"Tule jo kyrpäjen kuningas,
paljaspää papurokallen,
pane kyrvät kyntämään,
kivekset kilisemään
nahkapallit naukumaan,
päästä kyrvät kytkyistä,
karvavarret kahleista."

"Come already king of cocks,
bareheaded for bean soup (traditional food that used to be served at weddings and such),
make the cocks plow,
testicles jingle,
leather balls squeak,
set the cocks free from their chains,
hairy shafts from their shackles."

That's all I can give ya.
I might record a new one during the coming week.

I just stumbled in here, thinking maybe id learn something. maybe how to dirty talk better.

all ive really learnt is what to avoid.

lot of people talk quietly when theyre masturbating, it can be very difficult to make out what theyre saying.

they use moans as a time filler. they don't really serve any purpose.

they over use the world cock like its meant to get a reaction on its own.

then the thread took a weird turn into poetry n shit.

not saying im any better, just pointing out what ive observed as an impartial observer
>>
>>25243141
>they don't really serve any purpose
>an impartial observer

I'm not sure you are though. Some people like moans, you obviously don't.
But of course we always come short of what we would like to actually do when we just record something. Even if hearing someone touching himself or herself, and taking pleasure from that, this will never compare to actually seeing the person in that exact moment, with all of your senses multiplicating the arousal and the pleasure you take from it.
You hear her moans, her breath, but also her arm moving, grazing (ok not the best one but i can't find a better one) against the sheets, maybe even her fingers depending on how wet she is.
You can smell her scent, the swetness of her perfume if she's wearing it, her sweat, the stronger musky smell emanating from between her leg.
You can feel her body against yours, the heat from it, the motions, the slick sensation of your sweat where you come in contact, her muscles tightening and relaxing depending on what you are doing...
You can taste her body, the sweat on her skin (no i'm not obsessed with that, but you have to admit it happens if you are doing things well), her lips and her tongue...

Of course sex is mainly physical, we can't transcribe a look filled with lust, an animalistic and rough embrace, the feeling of being inside, over and all around someone at the same time...
But as long as we can't upload thoughts and feeling over the internet, i think some are doing a pretty good job at titillating the biggest sexual organ we have with our meager means, because let's face it, it all happens in the brain.
>>
>>25243198
women are able to do say, videos on a regular professional basis. and a lot of those erh... senses kind of things, aren't present.
they are able to present a well spoken script to get off on.
their confidence is whats sexy. I think.
>>
>>25243210
Yes, videos are nice (and btw you add one criteria when compared to just a recording here).
But it's still waaay less enjoyable than having a real woman (or man) in your arms
>>

>>25242781

>>25243141
You get what you give m8. There are plenty of people in this thread who are great at dirty talk - because they put themselves out there and work on it.
>lot of people talk quietly when theyre masturbating
Yeah, so I turn up the volume. Personally I always prefer the authentic, even if it's quiet, to the forced. It's more intimate.
I do think you're right that moans get used as filler occasionally, but most of the time listeners are asking for more moans. It's what we like to hear. Anyway. The rest are probably fairly accurate but I consider them to be mostly for listener benefit, so each their own and all.
>>25243210
>they are able to present a well spoken script to get off on.
If you're doing professional (independently), you're often writing your own script. And shit, you HAVE to put more work into the whole thing in that case.
A good amount of the scripts in here are written by women listeners, not men performing, and they're a lot more casual. So although you're definitely not the only one who's come into the thread with that opinion, I hesitate to pin all of that on performers. It's why I say a lot of the comments in your earlier post are things done because that's what the thread requested.
>>
>>25243231
Thank you, I'm very glad you enjoyed it! <3

I've done a couple Ovri scripts in the past, glad to see yet another good one.

>>25241739
No worries about taking a while, it happened and that's what's important.
Ahhh, I see what you mean, I think I ended up redoing that particular section because of some background noise, it still wasn't as subtle as 'splinters' from Docks Again, but I don't think it was that enunciated.
I'll keep the pacing in mind as well, I tried to make the breaks between the rhymes uniform in length, but these things happen, I'll just get better. \o/
>>
>>25243141
>lot of people talk quietly when theyre masturbating, it can be very difficult to make out what theyre saying.

Sounds to me like they're actually masturbating and not just faking it then.

>they use moans as a time filler. they don't really serve any purpose.

People like hearing the moans. And filing time is a purpose.

>they over use the world cock like its meant to get a reaction on its own.

That tends to be how the script is written. Which means it's what the requester wanted.

>then the thread took a weird turn into poetry n shit.

People request that too.

Give us a script that better meets your standards, and the performers will be happy to fill it.

>I just thought maybe I could get some tips for talking dirty to women.

Confidence>Everything by a huge margin. Test the waters, don't be afraid of embarassing yourself, any one worthwhile isn't going to hold one bad sex session against you.

Second most important thing,

>PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR LOVERS REACTIONS

A soft sigh, breath starting to slow, maybe a little moan, getting a bit fidgety, all signs of arousal, keep going after those little tell tale signs. Learn to pick up on them and you'll be able to dirty talk just about anyone.

Lastly, from a relationship standpoint, you want good dirty talk, have open and honest conversations about your sexual needs and desires. It's a two way street and it's important to pay attention for both parties. Sex isn't all about the physical, doubly so with women. If you really want to get a womans motor going, psychology is a really solid method of handling that.

>Ohh.... is this a homosex

Nah, some of the posts and posters absolutely are. But it's because you're looking for what works for certain people, rather than what works from what you can do. It's why you're getting called out on the criticism, it's coming from a place that has pre-conceived notions about it.

Its been a bit of a crazy few weeks for me so i've been a bit lax in recordings. My apologies. Theres so really great stuff the other folks have recorded, consider me very jealous of all the voices here.

Doing these next few recordings on vocaroo until i feel warmed up a little and want to redo them for my Chirbit, if you like them let me know.

Baer, the second you open your mouth my breath immediately hitches.
Some of the phrasing is a bit unusual in the script itself, so I wouldn't worry. Overall I love this. I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea and I really appreciate the effort.
Your growl fits perfectly in this recording, and I aaabsolutely love the little bunny references, as well as all the details you added. I don't know what it is about my heart pounding like this that gets me going but it absolutely does, and you got it right. Thank you as always <3

Well i have a few photos of what it looks like now, the scar isn't really that visible since there are 4 little steri-strip covering it, and it's covered by a bandage most of the time, but i think that pics aren't that welcome here.
I could always post it somewhere else, i actually did a post on /b/ yesterday to talk about it and reiterate my warning about checking yourself so i have the pics ready.
But people would really want to see someone they have absolutely no relations with just fapping? I know that if you have feelings for someone it could be nice and everything, but even if i have a decent looking penis (i think) i don't think it would be that interesting.
I'm willing to do it though, just warning that it could be boring.

Or like it has been said a few days ago, just organize a field trip and come see it for yourself, i still have beds to host people

Well, I will admit that I was not at my best with this one, but I hope you can find some kind of value in it anyway.

That said, in here I have not one, but two versions of your script! (And the original is linked inside as well.) The first is just a basic edit – I tried to stay true to what you wrote as much as possible and just tried to rephrase where I thought necessary. The second a little more different from yours, I sometimes changed pacing or details or whole paragraphs to make it more like I would write it. I don’t know if they’re even different enough to matter, but you’re welcome to keep both versions or pick one and have me delete the other, whatever you want.

And please, if it still doesn’t sound like what you imagined, point out what should be different and I will work on it. Suggestions from anyone else are welcome too.

Right, a full week of variable motivation, busy-ness, and successful recording levels, and finally I am sitting down and responding to things (sorry it's taken so long), so, mega post spread over multiple posts incoming:

>>25231377
>Sometimes It Rains is beautiful.
Full credit to GeorgiaBlue on that desu. Amazing script will result in good recordings. :)
>Sex under the stars and SCP recording
Sorry it's taking so long after that tease, I've written a script for the sex under the stars thing, but it was crap and lacking flow, so that's back to the drawing board, and the SCP stuff is mostly recorded (need to produce the mimetic agents and I'm lacking inspiration on how to do that) and once that's done (and I can find some motivation) I'll get to editing it together.

>Part 1 of 4

>>25232841
>I don’t know how things are over there on your end of the internet, but you’ve made at least one person’s day better with this one.
Thanks. Things are highly variable right now. So good, some bad, some just depressing, but hearing that I made someone's day better with that is definitely in the good column. :)

>Your evil laughs are the best. You do creepy so wonderfully.I really want to hear you do a true horror script….
Scroll down to the posted links. And look forward to the SCP recording when I finally get it done.
>more Helion poetry in the future, maybe?
Again, scroll down. :P
>Regarding stage directions
I think the best thing to do is basically just imagine yourself in the other position and what her/your hands would be doing. Like for example, in Sometimes It Rains, there's a bit where the two characters press together. In that situation, would your hands be idle? Or would they be fondling. That would be a good point to insert a 'if you'd like to fap, start here' type direction.

Also I should have said 'mild criticism' to be honest. It's still a fantastic script, and again, being honest, that issue is atleast partly my fault for not reading the whole thing through before recording it. :P

>if anything I have ever written actually *is* arousing
'If'? Hah! Definitely. Those moans weren't faked. ;)

As far as scripts with good stage directions go... I can't really say any come to mind sad to say. :/

>>25251807
Wow. This is where i see that i still have a long way to go to perfect my english. You did a fantastic job, i really liked the 2nd version. It feels like what i wrote in french where i could be much more lyrical, it lost a lot of that when i translated it since i'm not that well versed into the more eloquent ways to phrase what i meant.
And some of the changes, like the part where she's getting the control of her limbs back, is really an improvement over my too quick version. I cramed a few different ideas in the whole script, the very beginning from a dream (at the pool), the kidnapping/torture part to fulfill a request, and a more consensual ending because this was how it would end... Now that i have re read it several time it's clear that it doesn't perfectly fit together but, hey, at least i like it (and other people too it seem).
But honestly, your version sounds much better now that i tried to read it aloud, not just a serie of description like i had at first. It really flows and follow the idea better. I found it even more arousing than my own, like i was reading something new but checking a lot of the boxes i really liked obviously.
And 2 versions, you went way further than i hoped. Thank you very much!

I'll try to see what comes out of it, another excuse to take me away from my studying (god dammit i lack motivation so much...)

>>25253853
High praise from the man who came up with it! I'm glad, thank you. I'll save the first version just in case you realize there's something that still needs changing, but for now I've removed it from the script so we have a clean file. Also you're welcome to repost it yourself if you want.
>a few different ideas in the whole script
I actually enjoyed mixing the rough with the soft aspects. I like audios like that, so I enjoyed the way you put them together.
>like i was reading something new but checking a lot of the boxes i really liked obviously.

I'm afraid in return I'm going to inflict some GeorgiaBlue poetry upon you. "I Did Not Ask for Your Submission" was beautiful, Helion, and it may have inspired me to write a sort of submissive counterpoint to it. This is rough and completely unpolished, but I thought I'd leave it here anyway:

Good grief Blue... I'm not sure how much polishing you could reasonably subject that too... Possibly an extra line or two to heighten things (particularly the active want in the speaker's words), but other than that it's brilliant....

I'm mildly stunned. Thank you.

>Questions Ramble 18052017

>>25260519

If we were cranking along at a rate of a thread hitting the bump limit every few days, I might agree with you, but as it is, the artistic stuff keeps the thread alive and filled with audio content and active requests (when I was basically the only person performing, if there was a ban on artistic content in place, MSA could well have died altogether). Without it, I suspect we'd run the risk of degenerating to a state where the thread is just people posting 'bump' (much like FSA) and I really don't think we want to go there.

-Helion
>>
>>25260519

MSA and FSA could be united into a singe tread. As for poetry readings, some could form a separate thread. Not sure if people would want that.

That's my bad. I was reorganizing and forgot I privated a lot of things, but there is now a public archive of all questions I've ever posted; the one you've just done is the last link in there.
https://pastebin.com/4HUQbE9i
Not that it should matter for you as I think you've already done them all.

>response someone would give rather than an extension
That’s what I was going for! I really appreciate you doing this ramble, Lascivious, it was really interesting for me.
>his recital is intense, he’s very dismissive
Yes. There’s a lot of frustration in this poem. Gahh. I feel like you read my mind here, Lascivious.
>“I will drink you down”
In my head, this reads as very ominous and threatening, almost. It’s definitely a change in tone from the rest of that stanza. The goal is to take the mood from a sort of complimentary “Hey, you’re not complete shit” to “That doesn’t mean you can fuck with me, asshole.”

I actually didn’t have anybody in mind to read it :P But I’m incredibly glad you did! The goal with recordings is never for them to come out like they do in my head, but to see what happens with my words in other people’s heads. I feel like MSA really helps me as a writer in that aspect, because I get to see how well (or not) what’s in my head gets communicated to my readers, and that’s really invaluable. There’s something much more honest about an audio-recording than a written review or critique, and I think that may be because it’s a “pure” interpretation, rather than one specifically meant to give me feedback.

Also, because I know this piece was really personal for Helion: this is all coming from a place of pure artistic expression and critique, and is not meant to reflect on you or on my views of you in any way. We still love you, and your poem kicked ass.
>>
>>25260814
>>25260519
Ok, so I tried typing out my thoughts about these things, and the pure text just seemed super dismissive and horrible, and given that I really didn't mean to do that I thought I'd go ahead and ramble about it.

>Thread Alterations Response

>>25259730
>>25261343
Reading Blue's response resulted in me actually listening to Lascivious' ramble because I almost never listen to other MSA performers (sorry), and I have to say that I find the impressions/interpretations here very interesting. Also kinda confusing/mixing up.

Mostly because Blue's right, that original *was* very personal, and as such there is the half-remembered dream that went before it and the very specific person who was in that (with all the context that goes with that, not to mention the context on my end that that close a friend should/would already know all about) in my looking at it. Equally, I can see what both of you are saying.

So yeah, interesting. Thank you both. :)

>“I will drink you down”
>In my head, this reads as very ominous and threatening
Oddly enough it didn't read that way to me at all... In my head it reads as more of a declaration of 'I can and will take whatever you've got', a theme that you came back to later.

I'm not sure about doing a reading of 'You Did Not Ask' myself (there's a definite confidence in the submission here, and the sub side of my switch is both not confident at all and feels *super* vulnerable), but I'll keep the thought in mind. :)

As soon as you explained it, I got what you meant about the line. That's where the shift in tone takes place, not the next stanza. But overall, I'm glad my reading followed closely with your intent, and that you enjoyed it so.

>>25261513
Let me first say, as Blue expressed, I approached this work simply as artistic expression, not knowing any context for your original piece outside of the poem itself. I do not mean for it to be a reflection upon you or your work. Not knowing the context (the dream, the person to whom you are speaking) means our interpretations will obviously differ, but it allows us (or Blue, really) to create something without restriction, and make it more of an artistic thing rather than what you intended.

Man, I feel like I'm apologizing for this, when you seem to already be more or less fine with the result.

>“I will drink you down”
>In my head it reads as more of a declaration of 'I can and will take whatever you've got', a theme that you came back to later.
I do think your interpretation of the line is closer to what I had in mind. I just wasn't sure how to express it.

As for not listening to others, I think I'm the one in the minority, actually. I remember mentioning once that I did listen to other recordings, and someone commented on how uncommon it is for a performer to be a listener as well. I don't think anyone holds that against you.

Oh, and I never even thought about how to properly pronounce your name until it came time to record. But you're right, my pronunciation would be spelled Hellion. The more you know.
At least now, if I ever need to shout your name, I know I'll be saying it correctly.

>when you seem to already be more or less fine with the result.

Pretty much. As I say, it's interesting because so much of my poetry has either never been shared with anyone, or had a very specific purpose (entrance in a competition, riffing on a subject or line in a creative writing thread) and so actually getting that other perspective on something I wrote for my own benefit is something a bit different. :)

Yeah, there's a certain side of my submissive side that has, predatory desires. He wants to push the Dominants buttons, he wants to see how far the listener will let him go, it's a test of will, so to speak. It's impossible for me to completely ignore my rebellious nature, even my submissive side has that aura of arrogance. I wouldn't really call him a Dom(though, some people would find themselves submitting to him oddly enough) but I definitely know what you mean by it. He's an intimidating little shit when he wants to be.

>That little raw voice, I got such a rush.

Honestly, I'm debating re-doing it because I feel like it could be done better. I might try later this evening for a second attempt. The perfectionist in me can be a real hard ass sometimes. But, I am very glad to hear you enjoyed it.

>I'm glad you're letting it just develop naturally.

I'm glad I'm in a position where I can let him experiment for a change without feeling the need to deny his existence out of some misguided pride. It speaks to me, at least, about how far I've come in the last few years. I look forward to testing the waters more with him. It's...challenging, to beg, to say the least. But I do try to let him do it.

>>
>>25260519
>>25260814
Not to keep dragging it out - I agree with the general response that it probably wouldn't work out well - but just to address the "why" of this, I'm assuming the reasoning behind this suggestion is an efficiency thing? Are there just a lot of people who prefer to skip directly to NSFW recordings and don't really pay much attention to the thread itself? If that's the case, I could see why people would want that, but maybe it could be addressed some other way.
>>25261513
That said, those were very good points about the potential benefits of changing the threads. I certainly hope we don't, but I'm glad someone is at least keeping those in mind.
>Leftmousebutton has said [she appreciates] rambles and such because that gives her a window into the way the performers think, sort of get to know the performers a bit better, and that therefore means that she can enjoy the actual sexy times a bit more.
In fact, it's been a while since we had that conversation, and I'd like to make that an even heavier statement now. In addition to personal enjoyment (which is still true), keeping the sfw stuff here also makes it MUCH easier to write nsfw scripts. It's not a guarantee, but it is a huge help in figuring out at the least what tone and wording will work for most performers, if not what scenarios as well.

>>25261765
You know, you don't HAVE to do everything in the same day. Wow.

>Everyone so far has very cautiously skirted around that opportunity.
Honestly, that doesn't surprise me. Simply saying salty or sweet in an nsfw sense could be easily misinterpreted. Although perhaps doing a script (maybe just a short one) of someone answering that question in an nsfw sort of way could be a fun little thing for you to do?
>intentionally lighthearted questions and make them heavy and serious
Sorry... I do have a lot of heavy and serious thoughts rattling around in my head these days. They can tend to surface at inopportune moments. But oh well... Such is life.

>>25271334
>maybe it could be addressed some other way
I guess if we performers started properly tagging our recordings (GWA-style, with [M4F], [M4M], [M4A] (or just [4F] [4M] and [4A] givent hat the first M is kinda a given here) and [NSFW] or [SFW]) then that could help. Be a bit of a hassle (especially for rambles or romance scripts that are a bit borderline) but that would help solve such an issue, since people can just crtl+f and look for the tag they're looking for.
>You know, you don't HAVE to do everything in the same day
Someone once said to me 'I don't expect you to talk for an hour in response', when I then did, the term 'stubborn as a hard boiled rock' got applied to me. :P
>There is no in-between with horoscope opinions.
I suspect that that's a product of how horoscopes are the highest profile remaining elements of spiritualism in broader society, and as such have wound up being a heavily fought over point of contention between spiritualists and empiricists.
>And that final question is a lot more difficult than I expected. I'd have to.. think about that.

>I guess if we performers started properly tagging our recordings
>people can just crtl+f and look for the tag
Might be a bit much to mandate for everyone in every audio, but I was thinking maybe just throwing a general NSFW on the post if you're linking an obviously lewd script or recording ought to be enough. I highly doubt there's anyone frantically ctrl+f-ing through the thread for safe-for-work or the ambiguous stuff. Don't want to impose that if it's only a minor inconvenience to one or two people, though. In fact, unless multiple people come out and seriously ask for it I don't think it would be necessary.
And then, of course, that solution assumes that the problem is ease of finding the recordings and not something else like, say, people believing that SFW posts are suppressing what might otherwise be a higher quantity of NSFW.
>>

>In fact, unless multiple people come out and seriously ask for it I don't think it would be necessary.
Yeah, I'm in agreement on this.

>And then, of course, that solution assumes that the problem is ease of finding the recordings and not something else like, say, people believing that SFW posts are suppressing what might otherwise be a higher quantity of NSFW.
It isn't beyond the realms of possibility that that effect might be happening. Equally, given our traffic figures (both /soc/ and MSA specifically), I honestly doubt it. If anything, I would actually think it might be the opposite, the SFW stuff both maintains a platform, and potentially hooks in new performers with stuff that's easy and not too intimate to record. Meanwhile, the aural exhibitionists of /soc/ are continuing to fap into mics and get enthusiastically received anyways so...

Sorry! Too late for that, Hellion.

So, I loved this. The beginning and the very last sentence I found especially nice and soft, whereas I think in the middle you were giving it a little more thought, monitoring yourself more as you spoke. In any case, you definitely have a talent for it, and I will try to get some more script-type msub things out in the future. I’m so glad you liked this one, and thank you for challenging yourself to do it too. You’re right, there aren’t too many quite like you.
>>25268705
>He wants to push the Dominants buttons, he wants to see how far the listener will let him go, it's a test of will, so to speak.
Hmm. I admit that back-and-forth sounds like some good potential fun (and it’s not entirely uncommon), though I assumed it was a little more of a reluctance to let go that brought that voice out. In any case, it should be comfort in the environment or the script that helps with that, not forcing it. I’m interested to see how it develops if you record more like this.
I'm very happy with the way the recording is now, but I'm curious about what you'd want to change if you did re-do it?
>It's...challenging, to beg, to say the least.
Challenging but delicious. (But on a serious note – by all means, take your time.)
>It speaks to me, at least, about how far I've come in the last few years.
I absolutely think that’s something to be proud of.
>As an aside, it feels so weird talking about myself like I'm divided, but I don't know how else to express it
It does make it easy to reference exactly what you need to reference, if nothing else. In my experience, talking about fragments of yourself is always at least one step closer to reconciling them than not discussing them at all.

You wouldn't be wrong, truthfully. I am certainly guilty of tripping myself at times, y'know?

>though I assumed it was a little more of a reluctance to let go that brought that voice out

Thinking back on it, it could be a bit of A) and B) honestly. I know for a fact there's a part of that side of myself that has rebellious tendencies, he sees everyone as a potential challenger and submission being so hard for me, leads him to be a bit headstrong at times. Whether or not that's purely concern over that sides existence or a manifestation of my own alpha male tendencies remains to be seen.

>Challenging but delicious. (But on a serious note – by all means, take your time.)

I fully intend to, I worry though, that by getting mroe comfortable with it, that it will lose some of the spark, y'know?

>That is exactly my kind of answer.

Based on your responses, I thought as much. :3

>You’re right, there aren’t too many quite like you.

Honestly... most of it? I don't think it's your performance, definitely more of a settings thing. It sounds very different from all your other recordings. Like far away, muffled speech, but also with other audio being picked up. Like a low-quality phone call.

Fair enough. If that's what it is then that's what it is, you know? You just have to find someone who's both worthy of that and able to handle it (no big deal lol).
>I worry though, that by getting mroe comfortable with it, that it will lose some of the spark, y'know?
All things change, etc. I do get that, but I'd be very wary of keeping yourself in a state of true discomfort for the sake of being interesting. Even if you do lose one quality by exploring it, I have to assume it would be replaced by something else.

Heavy post. I'm glad you're still pushing through and posting. And thank you so much for the Fruit recording <3 It actually sounded very close to the way I was hearing it in my head, which makes it that much better. You're honestly great with pacing when it comes to poetry.
Actually come to think of it, that's my answer for the questions, too. Your pacing is great in all your recordings, not only the sfw ones. And the enunciation. That seems nerdy... but it's some good stuff.
The recording is dark but good improv. I admit I forget sometimes that you can just... DO that. I'll come back to it sometime when I can give it more listening time. It's very obviously real, though, and I think that's what makes it memorable and makes it easy to put yourself in that moment. I feel a lot more with this recording than I do with many others.

And now for the bad news. I've been promising a lubed up fap recording, and I did one. It came in at 41 minutes long, and turned out to be completely unusable because it seems that trying to record while running my soundcard off my laptop just isn't going to happen.

And I'd spent three days edging and not getting off in preparation. To say that I'm feeling frustrated and crushed by that would be an understatement.

Maybe I can rescue it somehow but I doubt it at this point giving how the noise reduction in audacity seems to be effectively roboticising what sounds are left.

You're welcome Blue. :)

As for the laptop problems... To be fair, I should have known better given all the usual issues with laptop recording quality (in particular, laptop power supplies tend to be really filthy and noisy), but my old headset was always fine to record on that laptop. Then again, that headset had a built in soundcard and was design ed to be used with laptops so... :/

I think I'm gonna have to experiment with how to get the most out of my current recording gear with my laptop though. recording up in my room rather than downstairs at my computer would be a far more viable option for some scripts (especially scripts demanding getting off - I find it to be much easier to do that laying down than sitting at my PC).

it started out as MSA-only discord, but the levels was actually requested by performers as FSA melded into it and we grew bigger. The performers and the people they trust don't want randoms looking at their pictures or reading stories from their lives
it's not here to replace the thread anyways, although if that time comes, then there might have to be a change to the structure, and then there might be a second discord for circle-jerking
you can compare the discord to GoneWildAudios GWA backstage with added comfort zone
If we can be a place both for helping new people, letting people meet performers on a more personal level and for old thread people to relax then why shouldn't we
It's not like we deny it anyways, so why act as if you're a whistleblower?
The comfort zone acts both ways, god knows how many times I've had to stand up for self-indulging assholes.
even Mittens, Luger. IX and Chrishop have gotten their chances, but in the end it's a community where you have to reach a middleground, and that includes restricting counter-communal people and allowing ok people to have their safespace.
I don't consider myself to be best buddies with everyone with special roles, and I think the feeling is mutual, so most actually use other discords for friend-stuff
and in the end; stuff that goes on in hidden chats accounts for 10% of the total server activity anyways and the restricted voice chat gets used maybe once every 2 months

I know why there are roles and secret chats, I just think that they should not be on that SA server at all and instead be moved to another discord where it won't be a problem. Having special roles like "VIP" and "Cool Kids" only breeds jealousy unless there is a time cap set to it, such as 1 month of being an active member for Cool Kids and 3 months for VIP.

It's a dumb system. If you know this is a discord server posted to 4chan and don't want to share your personal life details with the public, don't do so in the public server. Make your own private little server to do so.

We used to have something like that, but then people figured out the system and was balancing being an asshole to everyone and not doing anything warranting kicking, So they got either demoted or not promoted

I mean, it is much much easier to pick out your favorite people and promote them, right? Giving everyone a fair chance is soooo hard. some I've wanted to have more access, but I was in the minority or shown my fault and they lost their roles

>Wait, you put sound effects into this? I just realized I've been hearing birds and just barely noticed.
Erm... No? Seriously, I pretty much never play with sound effects because that requires in deep editing and that in turn requires listening to my own voice... So yeah.... If you heard birds then I can only assume that there were some birds outside that my microphone's noise cancelling decided against filtering out.

>Can't trust this thread with anything.

Stoned review of Samurai Jack season 5. Stoned me re-worded the original OP monologue for Aku into something a bit more mememagicy.
>>
>>25286426
I didn't think you would go to all that trouble and then not even mention it, but it was so well-matched even to the pace that I wondered if maybe you were just doing a subtle play up of the garden theme. I was about ready to tell you it sounded a bit TOO perfect to be realistic lol, even played it in multiple locations to make sure it wasn't outside MY window. No other background noise at all, but very clear, repeated calls. Something small and chirpy like a robin or a wren. Congratulations on your clearly nature-approved recording.

>>25286519
Shit I didn't watch 5. I don't even know if I ever finished 4 way back when, I am very behind. But alright I will make peace with the re-word :P
>>
>>25286629
Season 4 was really well drawn, well acted, well choreographed. Season 5 starts strong, meanders a bit in the middle and has a lot of "jack" in the end. I don't know 100% how I feel about it yet, so I'm doing the series because of that.

For me, I've always felt most natural in control. I find myself entranced by the hunt. I love the chase, I feel most in control when the world is chaos around me.

>And it deserves the attention it has

I don't know if I agree, but I can't really complain that people enjoy it so much, it's good to be appreciated, even if I still feel odd about it.

>Those are some interesting rules.

I'm one of those fools who lives and dies by his reputation and name. Once I post something, I never delete it and hesitate to edit it, even for a minor typo correction. Holy shit, Lascivious. Your joker is phenomenal. The way you said that “no shoes…brrr” line was so damn creepy. The laughing is great, too- especially at the end. Yeah, that seems to be a common feeling. Meanwhile, all the listeners love improvs hah. But I get it, writing it AND performing it is sort of unfair double duty.
>then again I have a "love under the stars" script that I've hit a stumbling block with
You PROMISED
>The journals are for me, you don't have to feel bad about not listening to them.
What if I listen to them but then just add to your complaints with more complaints
>this is why I wanted someone to categorize me.
Well, you asked for it. I wouldn't say gravelly necessarily, because it's not super low which I would associate with that. I would say piercing or ringing, and I would say clear and strict. Strict in the sense that it's evenly paced and metered, sort of marching (check out the wave on your chirbit, it's this clear defined step, even pitch, even pace). That works really well for angry scripts, or also for ones with enthusiastic egging-on like that "come for me" recording, or for ones with subtle condescension. Not angry condescension, more like teasing. I don't know why and I don't have an example where you've actually done it. I just know it would work. I'll post a script if I think of/find it.
Also sometimes it can be breathy, and other times it can be very severe. Those are two extremes you're good at.
As for >>25276315
>What kind of script, what tone, what feelings do you like when I express them?
The script, honestly (and I know this is the answer nobody wants to hear), is the one that appeals to you. The breeding recordings were so damn good because you had fun making them, that enthusiasm without hesitation. Personally, I like the occasional rough or angry script like what you've posted, but I don't think you've explored nearly enough of the potential for the soft voice.

And now I am out of characters. I will find more poetry and I will post it.
>>
Have to bump

>>25288180
>I'm ashamed to say I listened to it last night and actually fell asleep before I could respond.
If you're telling me you fell asleep after having listened to that one, then I'm deeply flattered. The aim was to comfort, so falling asleep to it tells me you felt the utmost comfort.
And if that's not the case, well, let's just pretend it is, so as to not wound my ego.

>>25288699
You're making me blush. I just remember reading the script to myself, and not even halfway through I stopped. I was in the perfect mindset to record. However, due to the nature of it, and how much fun I was having, I knew I couldn't do multiple takes as I normally do. So this was all done in one take, with very minor editing. So to hear your glowing praise, I'm beyond flattered.

>Apparently today is “heap compliments on Lascivious” day
It would appear so.

Seriously, thank you to everyone who listens and enjoys my work. I'm giddy at all the praise being thrown my way. I've now got 2 tracks at over 100 listens, and one of them is over 200! To think, enough people listened to and enjoyed my recital enough to gather over 200 plays! I can't thank you all enough!

Yes, exactly. I generally don't use recordings to fall asleep, so it was very unexpected. It was a night when I really needed it, too, so thank you for that. I've also listened a few more times since then.

Between the aggressive/Joker, the soft scripts, and the /d/ stuff (which I think is where you're getting most of your highest listen counts), you have a decent range, especially for not being actively involved in voice acting.

Finally replying! Not at all late or anything. Regarding the question of anything that wasn't the way you expected:
>Would like more lewd but still rather vanilla scripts
>The more raunchy the script is, the more it tends to fall into the dom or sub extreme
>Maybe I'm just an in the middle kind of guy
>I still want to feel like everyone's enjoying themselves
>What I had in mind for what I wanted to hear and what I wanted to record is just different from what the writers tend to write.
I really wanted to wait to respond to this until I actually WROTE some kind of relevant script, but turns out that's taking way longer than it should so here we are, I'll just answer with my thoughts.
I definitely think you're right that it's a pattern. I would guess that part of this is preference, and part of it is just... the learning process? Starting out, you tend to use a lot of existing scripts as a lesson for what to do or not to do, what gets appreciated based on how often that script is recorded. So I think it's a case of a lot of scripts coming out that lean toward the extreme, because that's what we ALREADY have as a template for what's acceptable. Then as you get more comfortable with it, I think it's easier to start trying other stuff because you know you can absorb it a little better if it doesn't go over well.
>>
>>25301907
>>25275664
That said, appreciation of the more "in-the-middle" scripts is also something that's been discussed more often lately. Everyone else is welcome to add their own take on this, I know there are writers and listeners AND performers who have all briefly mentioned either wanting or enjoying scripts like that but didn't feel there was always a huge audience (well, huge as you could get in this thread anyway). It always helps when someone brings it up like this, so don't worry about voicing the opinion or anything.
And just as a note, it's also very helpful to have it actually requested when it comes to writing it. As with recordings, it's hard to offer something out of the blue when you don't have indication if it will be enjoyed. Writing something you just want to hear for yourself without caring about whether anyone else likes it is fine and good in theory, but most of the time that's just not how it goes.
Check out some of the softer stuff from the masterbin https://pastebin.com/Ch4bLWs1, maybe you could give some feedback on whether that's closer to what you were looking for, or if not, how it could GET closer. I know you've recorded GeorgiaBlue's scripts, so those are probably more in that vein.

>Give me EVERY Neruda recording.
Gladly. Tbh, I'd never heard of him before I started doing MSA, but now he's pretty much my favourite poet out there. Really enjoy his work, especially to record. :)

> a lot of scripts coming out that lean toward the extreme, because that's what we ALREADY have as a template for what's acceptable.
If I might add my two penneth on this, I think it's also a function of this ultimately being the production and transmission of fantasy (and fantasies do tend towards a heightened reality anyways), and also it being... perhaps less intimate to go towards the kinkier stuff. I suspect that a lot of us here, performers, listeners and writers are probably somewhat more vanilla than we might appear, but kink provides a nice and easily processed set of stereotypical roles to slip into, which, in turn, both affords the producers of the audio a generic but not too broad target audience (I personally find it really hard to write a script or produce an improv when I don't have a specific person or other target audience in mind), and a degree of distance between themselves and the character they're inhabiting.

I'm probably talking bollocks, but that was the way my thinking went reading that. :P

That's alright, I also like listening even if I don't understand them, plus it's interesting trying to look them up.

With your permission(s), I'd like to use the audio and try and splice together a somewhat "crazy" sounding version of this, it's going to require some tinkering and the like, but if it works out well it should make for an amusing piece of Internet history.

As an aside...I can't for the life of me remember if I owe a request or not...I've had a strange week and I wouldn't mind a few reminders if I've omitted a task I had taken on.

If there are no outstanding ones or if you have something in mind, by all means, feel free to request anything you'd like of Me or my submissive side. I'm debating doing a bit of a ramble tonight, but I'm honestly a bit...Out of sorts. So it wouldn'nt be a very positive one.
>>
>>25307868
Sure. I set it as downloadable for a reason. :)
>>
>>25306487
Thank you Quartz, that's exactly what I was looking for. And look, sometimes you try to stay away from the wasps but they just have other plans, yanno?

>>25306857
You could try moving the stutter around so it's acting on different parts of the words (or add a lag/repetition effect? I know with a short phrase like that there's not much room for it), the main thing I notice is toward the second half especially it seems like more of a pattern than random and chaotic like you would expect. This is pretty cool though.

>>25307831
All the listens so far are from me and it just keeps getting better.

>>25307868
>I can't for the life of me remember if I owe a request or not
I don't think so. Pretty sure you got everything. Personally, I'll probably have more(/better) requests closer to next week. In the meantime though, I hope you feel better. You're welcome to do a negative ramble if you want to just get it off your chest.
>>
>>25289737
I did promise. I'm still working on it, though I'm hitting a rough patch in the transition to knocking boots.

Open question to everyone:
Do you want a romantic under-the-stars lovemaking script to be

-Poetic and sappy the whole way through, fade to black?

-Poetic and sappy, then slowly turn to passionate, feverish lovemaking?

-Part 1, poetic and sappy, then seperate part 2, oh yeah fuck yeah bitch mnnf fuck yeah your pussy is so good

Hey broanons, I have two particular kinks.

I really get off to cocky alpha guys, who can talk about their muscles and superiority over other guys.

The second is impregnation, the idea of a guy seeding me sets me over the edge.

Anyone who would oblige me with a quick recording would be greatly appreciated :)

Ok, so first, someone asked me on my email if I could talk about my vocal warm ups, and so I decided to record the process.

>Vocal Warm-ups thing
https://soundgasm.net/u/Helion/Vocal-Warm-ups-thing

>>25313967
So, first I recorded this as straight poetry just with different voices, but then I saw what Quartz and Albro had done with it and thought I'd do some mild idea theivery, and so here is this in both unpanned and panned forms:

>What Did You Do Today? by Trista Mateer
https://soundgasm.net/u/Helion/What-Did-You-Do-Today-by-Trista-Mateer

>What Did You Do Today? by Trista Mateer (panned)
https://soundgasm.net/u/Helion/What-Did-You-Do-Today-by-Trista-Mateer-panned

And finally, here's what happened to my attempt at a 'sex under the stars' script... In the end, it turned out as more of an exercise in fantasy stoking with some dirty flirting and BFE thrown in for good measure rather than a full-on hot and heavy thing, but I hope you all enjoy it all the same.

>So, You Want To Have Sex Under The Stars Do You?
>Script: https://pastebin.com/zUYdxFt1

Wow, Albrecher. I looove how intense all your poetry readings are. That buildup and the pacing, but also the fact that you can intersperse it with softer lines when necessary. Thank you for all of these. Wasps' Nest especially is wonderful <3

>>25315003
Also good, especially for a short poem like that.
>>25316866
Interesting. The music addition was good, not too overwhelming but just enough.

>>25316665
>Vocal Warm-ups thing
That was actually really interesting to hear! I know this is weird but that hum is very, very pleasant. Warm vibration. It settles my mind really nicely.
>What Did You Do Today?
Thank you, twice. I do like all the panned versions of this. It's cool.
>So, You Want To Have Sex Under The Stars Do You?
Wow! Phew. Seriously wow.
