Handwriting thread!
Post your handwriting and rate others. Make assumptions. Guess character traits.
Have fun!
>>25216365
I assume you're in a library studying for your thesis ;)
>>25216365
I have dysgraphia, so thanks for rubbing my nose in it.
Half the time you're a self centered and pretentious ass. The other half of the time you wallow in depression thinking that you're not good enough.
>>25216377
How did you know!
I've just realised I'm terrible at making assumptions.
>>25216387
I'm not sure if you're being serious or facetious, but on the off chance you are being serious, I'm sorry. Though I can't see this being much different from someone having body image issues and being surrounded ded by "rate my body" threads. Just don't participate if you're not comfortable. Or participate anyway and don't let dysgraphia rule you?
>>25216396
Just a poem (not mine)
>>25216401
o:
>>25216418
>>25216418
:p
>>25216365
Probably smart/female
>>25216377
Chilled out dude
>>25216396
Average joe
>>25216487
Probably gets bored easily/ADD
>>25216394
I don't let it rule me, but it would go down as follows:
>>Post my shitty handwriting
>>People assume I'm a child or stupid.
Unless you're practiced in graphology, then making assumptions about handwriting is a horrid way to make assumptions about people.
And shouldn't you be working on your thesis? Let me guess, psychology with a focus on children?
>>25216559
But it's just like all the other "make assumptions" thread. It was not meant to be serious.
And I am working on it, and nope! I'm a linguist with a focus on adult autism. Can't cope with children.
>>25216587
I knew there was an autism vibe...
>>25216594
I mean I literally am autistic.
What the flip :o are you telling me autism is a real life thing? This must be some kind of trap then ;j
>>25216602
>>25216598
I can notice things.
>>25216609
No worries I like it. Always keen on self repair.
>>25216653
Waiiiiiit that's really weird. What made you say self-repair?
>>25216657
Oh nothing really... just a little personal endevour I'm on that I began from oddly enough right here about a year ago I started to try make myself better/fix aspects of my my psyche that I felt/feel are a little bit faulty in persuit of long term down the road happiness... and though it's been quite an emotional workout a lot of the time I do think it's showing worthwhile results for me so I intend to keep at it:D
>>25216653
I like your handwriting
>>25216657
The only reason I ask is because I'm a conversation analyst and one of the things I'm SUPER interested in is a phenomenon called "repair" which is split into "self" and "other" repair.
Thought you were a conversation analyst :P
>>25216691
replied to the wrong thing oops
>>25216702
Ha ha no worries... more a case of self investing into and analyzing myself to be completely open and honest. I really do hope and expect to eventually get to a point where I've managed to make my cheeky and delinquent internal scary monsters my bitches and if I get that right and possibly find myself presented with the opportunity to help someone else who might have become temporarily slightly or even completely lost in their own life at some stage when I'm a little older and understand my own mind better. yes that would be pretty cool to do I think.
First need to properly tame my own dragons though:p
>>25216692
Thanks :)
>>25216744
you seem pretty self aware and that's a large part of the battle
it's a starting point and maybe an absolute prerequisite if you want to try perform head doctoring on/by yourself but spotting and recognising the self perceived problem areas is pretty quick and easy since no one knows youself as well as you do but actually changing/repairing those broken parts of yourself is currently a whole different and more challenging mission entirely for me personally.
>>25216365
Love the semi-cursive nature of this.
>>25216602
Are those landscapes? You seem like someone who has a lot of motivation, but it comes in spurts.
>>25216339
Youre a girl and you work in a rush a lot of the time but like to have it at least ledgible
>>25216559
Im dyslexic and my handwriting sucks but I jsut find it funny
>>25216339
Au contraire of the rest of y'all I didn't try to make it look pretty.
>>25217330
woah nice, that looks sharp as hell
do you do anything artsy?
scientists often have shit handwriting

>>25217591
your parents are divorced and you are a male who tried to act like they dont but they worry about their apperance a lot
you have a girl bestfriend an everybondy thinks youre gay but youre not and its one of the reasons for your insecurities
Despite this you fit in quite well
>>25216365
Going through life a little too fast at times, take a moment to smell the flowers once in a while, literally.
>>25216377
Stubborn & reserved
>>25216401
Talk about low self esteem and emotionally all over the place.
>>25216418
Loosen up a little, you don't have to be perfect all the time.
>>25216487
Therapy will help you greatly, trust me it's very relieving to let that stuff out.
>>25216602
There is creative genius hiding here.
I'd love to see some of your work.
>>25216653
Please share a poem you've written, in your own handwriting of course.
>>25216849
Insecurities galore.
>>25217330
Center of attention is a must, almost to a fault.
>>25217591
As normal and average as can be.
>>25217673
Don't try so hard, have a little more confidence in yourself and don't rush things.
What do you think ?
>>25216503
Incorrect
>>25218768
Correct!
I don't actually mean this.
My hand is shaking from adderall + coffee and my handwriting is shit now.
I just wanted to write down my dope banana bread recipe :(
>>25221011
Blue paper would give me so much anxiety! I can only write on white or extremely light pastels.
>>25219610
Are you a 20something year old white male currently at uni in the STEM field
>I can also tell you go on reddit sometimes
>>25219598
Very distinct parent handwriting, I hope you're at least planning on having kids because you're in for a surprise
>>25221034
27 white male. Former construction worker. On reddit never, where did that part come from?
I haven't written in English for a long time.
>>25221040
You have not been to the site even once in the past week?
>>25221045
Nope.
>>25221044
Post a real page of your diary pls
No one will even know what's going on so it's okay
>>25221053
This is my last entry in it. I don't mind if someone understands it or translates it. I write in cursive when I do my entries. Old habit, and it keeps it fresh.
I also just realized that I didn't really contribute much to this thread, so I'll do that now.
>>25216396
Humble, with a confidence that needs to grow.
Otherwise, intelligent and caring.
>>25216418
Energetic, maybe artistic?
>>25216503
Guessing perhaps a gamer, never had a job? This is mostly because your handwriting looks like my brother's and he's not doing well, to put it nicely.
>>25217330
Social, educated, simple
>>25221028
Self-aware, socially active, modest.. I'll keep looking and see if something more comes up.
What about me guys?
I like TeX...
Pangrams are nifty!
>>25223073
Math major who has a penchant for old-fashioned methods. Sophisticated but also seems hurried.
>>25223114
...all of that is correct. Which is scary.
Does anyone else grip your pen/pencil unconventionally?
>>25223263
define "conventionally".
Pic related is how I pen.
>>25223263
Yes, I hold it with both my index and middle finger while using my ring finger for stability.
>>25223360
wat
I just tried that, now my hand hurts.
You know evolution gave us thumbs for a reason, right?
>>25223354
Like not how I hold mine.
>>25223360
I do somewhat of the same thing.
This writing is purely for the meme and does not reflect my personal opinions or beliefs.
>>25223368
I use my thumb too, most people use their middle finger for stability but I don't.
Phoneposting, will assume in next post on laptop :)
>>25223398
>gay !!!
>>25223263
>the sort of writing you'd expect to see on a mid-1950s letter from grandpa
>>25223109
>that slight left tilt tho
>>25223073
>wtf man
>>25222458
>TFW that capital I in line 1 looks like the De Tomaso logo
>>25221173

>>25219610
>cool M capital, not cool flat dots over I's :(
>>25219598
>Mild right tilt on lefty, pour soul assimilated :(
>>25223542
Spontaneous, care-free, up-in-the-air and well-humored.
>>25223557
What about the left tilt?
This thread seems like a grand time
Feeling sort of bad about my handwriting in this thread with all the great handwritings here.
>>25224260
Also, I guess I contactfag here, because I guess the crowd is a bit different than in the usual threads.
>>25224260
You seem depressed, melancholic and introspective.
>>25224531
That's not a very impressive guess here
Here's an example of notes I made at my own pace (they were recap notes for exams last year), my lecture notes tend to be even less legible because I write more quickly
>>25216396
deeent
>>25224827
>>25224223
>>25224132
Your handwriting pleases my autism.
Cool idea for a thread op.
Bump for more.

Not girly at all ;)
>>25231078
I can't read this :'D
>>25229261
Oohh I had to try this
>>25231147
>>25231104
Writing instrument of choice is marker, possible serial killers.
>>25230727
Probably a girl
>>25231078
Compulsively tilts the page before writing.
Let's play this game :)
>>25231286
It was the first thing I grabbed, I draw a lot so I have a lot of different pens and pencils and markers and stuff.
>>25234305
>that curve on the 'b' and apostrophe
AESTHETIC
i guess you're artistic and doodle a lot when you're bored, which is all the time
>>25234806
reposting
>>25223378
also this post gave me arthritis
Bump cause about to post my own
Ça moi, ne la jugez pas s'il vous plaît
>>25237236

My ex had the nicest handwriting. She should post.
>>25216434
You're right handed
>>25216602
are you using a brush pen?
>>25223073
i like refillable rollerballs because i can use fountain pen inks and i'm too rough on nibs if i use fountain pens. are tjose lamy's?
>>25221100
i used to write with high pressure like you.
well, i still do, sometimes, but since i use the fattest pens that slobber the most ink it's become less.
>>25223263
do you use uni-ball impact gel pens, or maybe ohto fude?
>>25223398
felt tip? the lines look too full bodied, though.
>>25224132
guessing a pilot precise v5 or other needle tip?>>25224223
roller ball? gel or liquid? very nice line work.
>>25231104
this has to be an ohto fude, yes?
I write like a child.
>>25240164
Not that bad
>>25240189
Awesome
>>25240142
I'm >>25224132 - was using a hotel regular ballpoint pen. It flows well, but is starting to get gloppy upon initial writing
>>25234806
Thanks! I'm not artistic, but I definitely procrastinate. I had a book of fonts as a kid that I loved tracing... so this thread is good, idle fun for me to browse.
>>25235091
I do like the look of handwriting on unlined paper...
>>25240436
really, you have very uniform pressure control. the nice thing about cheap ballpoints is that they will wear to your style, but then they'll wear past that, too.
>>25240485
nice vball grip.
i don't think it's your writing, i think it's either the point has been damaged or the paper is too fibrous, not allowing the nice smooth flow that pilots normally give.
>>25240769
Don't write on sandpaper with a crayon, got it.
>>25241183
a girl who got straight a's in school
>>25240798
that's friggin' hilarious.
i'm gonna try it.
i'm not kidding.
I'll drop another one since this is still going
>>25241322
Fucking phone camera. Fixed
>>25240443
i'm basically a human printer at this point.
even my chinese characters are soul-less reproductions of computer font.
but at least they're legible.
I don't write anymore except for when I draw lol
>>25241959
>>25241945
Computer font is best font.
>>25216339
Nice handwriting
