I've been battling with depression too, Anon. My interest are very similar to yours, except I like to watch sports and do drugs.

I've realized that I can't handle being at a small university. I'm going to a party school in the Fall. Hopefully there I can meet some chill people.

Female here, I used to be pretty adamant about dating men who were interested in lit, philosophy, and music. The ones I did meet were incredibly shallow and entitled. I've made a few guy friends online but nothing feels right. I almost want to give up on finding someone with similar interests and just meet someone kind and down to earth but fuck even that is hard to come by.

If you want to meet decent girls I would join a club there were a couple cool ones I met while studying or just go out to more events in your area and strike up a conversation. A fun part about being in a relationship is sharing your different interests, so even if you don't meet someone who immediately likes all those things you can get a girl into those things yourself.
