Half elf, half human who chose to live with elven kind deep in the forests, doesn't know that she's half human as she simply never encountered any other races and her clan did not wish to burden her.
One day humans farmers come and burn down the forests and kill the Elven elder, the remaining elves throw you out the clan, you wander around before meeting the main character, eventually joining up with them in the part but holding a deep distrust for them.

The Great Valrock, the greatest merchant in the Eastern Empire, said to harbor the most rare of trinkets and books, and equally, some of the most useless next to them. He travels with little more than a wheelbarrow to move them.
Despite his reputation, he seems to allude thieves, bandits and the occasional angry customer, secretly has magical abilities, however rarely uses them due to the global dislike of those who wield magic.
He sells trinkets to the main character and is a recruitable party member, if they have a high enough Charisma.

Second in command for the Second Sons', the Eastern Empires largest mercenary force. Your real name was lost to time, instead your men call you "Faithful" due to your loyalty to whoever sits in the commanding officers chair. You've seen the second sons turn from a somewhat proud company to a den of cowards, thieves, and murderers. The majority of the brave and good men died, as they tend to do in conflicts.
You remain in the company regardless, trying to do as much good as you can while following the command structure., as leaving would merely place you in a worse position.
