Well, what kind of stuff would you want to play?

There's also several various venues, with their own quirks and shit.

But for flist.net you just register on the site, make a character profile (which is separate from your account name, so you can have multiple isolated characters), select what kinks you like/don't like from the list, go on the chat and try to hook with passerbys.

The last step can be pretty challenging as frequent rejections are something everybody has to get used to.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this.

It's been a VERY long time since I've had a good typefuck. Last good character I played with is all of a sudden ignoring me even after we had two great 2-hour plus RPs and the thing is I got kinda spoiled.

Now, I'm wondering if it's one of two things. Maybe my character is boring, in which case, which characters you reckon are most popular right now? Or maybe I'm not a good RPer although I've been told otherwise a couple of times, in which case I wonder if somebody is up to RP with me and can give me some honest feedback.

Question: There's this pink nametag character that I RP with on a male profile I have. She was the only character that spoke to me/didn't delete her char after the long hiatus I took from F-List. We played a couple of times but it's become so tedious that I've avoided my only male profile just so I can't speak to her. Last night I logged in my male profile for a second and she sent me a message right away and I couldn't help but freeze and just close the browser. I was having fun on another profile and saw that she sent me a note asking what's wrong. I'm torn between lying to here and quietly delete her OR just come clean and say she bores me. On one hand, I don't wanna be rude or mean but on the other I really don't enjoy playing with her.

One of the things I like the most of ERPing is that the identity of the other person is entirely irrelevant, not even his/her gender matters. Why do you care who is at the other end of the chat if the typefucking is SO good? It's funny because a lot of them I've nicely tried to let know that I just logged in and they seem to understand, but then they just do it again days later.

One guy always pops on without fail if I log on in the morning hours and immediately PMs me. Hello everyone.

I hope I've got the right board for this. Between /b/ and /trash/ and all the other ad-libbing it's difficult to know exactly where to go.

Consider yourself forewarned, this is a heavy ad.

Several years ago I lost my mother. I was just a young, stupid teenager when it happened. Seems like a lifetime ago. I suppose in many ways it was. However, what hasn't changed is that I still miss her. A lot. I miss being hugged and told what a good boy I am and how proud I've made her. Being well-fed, making sure I don't go out without a jacket when it's cold - all of the little things too. I miss all of it.

So, I'm looking for somebody to ERP as my mother. Somebody who could love me and dote on me and hold me closely and whisper sweet nothing into my ear while tussling my hair.
In terms of kinks attached, it wouldn't be anything too extreme. Anal and lactation would probably be the most out-there.

Now I know that some of you are probably thinking "This guy's a fucking damaged nut-job." I accept that. I wouldn't be here asking if I wasn't.
What's in it for you is that you'll get complete and utter affection, devotion and adoration. I will always be happy to see you and always love you unconditionally. No ands ifs or buts. There's nothing stronger than the bond between a mother and child.

Go to flist and make a character with at least a veneer of not being yourself - make whom you want to be in the game of pretend. Just a normal guy, who loves his mommy very much.
Do not say a word about your RL loss.
Then go out and try to find some lustful moms to play with you.

Now, because you'd be making just a regular joe profile, your chances are going to be pretty slim...
But better than what you'd get here - between the general deadedness of the thread and missing the concept of IC/OOC.

My only thing is a lot of people don't put any effort in, so if you put in some effort and offer things, then you'll be fine. That kind of attachment leads to a shitty time for the other player most of the time and is best avoided. Few things are worse in F-List than a clingy partner who just won't stop hounding you. You could literally say "I'm in the hospital" or "I'm not feeling well" and some people will still pressure you to typefuck them.

Self-inserts also tend to be very one-sided in general and disregard what the other person might want out of an ERP.

We kind of switch alot of different stories.. He plays alot of different characters within a very strange but interesting supernatural world he made.. But I kinda just play whatever. We're bounty hunters/cops for hire/treasure hunters/whatever in a ruined city with demons and monsters and some humans. In the RP we have sex but and are affectionate but we're explicitly just partners and fuck other people at times, but it's kinda developing into a romance. I really like it most of the time when I'm not test driving his new characters :p

That's pretty neat what you two have going! I do similar things with both of the partners I mentioned.

One of the two I mentioned and I are constantly making new characters for new stories based on various anime series, usually side characters that don't really have much of a background so we can make our own crazy complex stories around them. My main male profile is also married to one of her characters in a universe the two of us created. We always find new ways to keep our RPs fresh with a nice balance of story and smut, while also shooting the breeze and hanging around when we feel like it.

The other is kind of a strange FWB situation. She's a lesbian in real life, but she has a huge fetish for her characters being sexually defeated in combat by males and we've also become very close OOC. We play out all sorts of things on a whim without making extra profiles for them, a lot of the time with me as a monster of some kind or even just a regular human that beat her at a game by cheating via feeling her up because she's hyper sensitive. Currently I'm doing my first roleplay as a DM with her and it's playing out like a Choose Your Adventure book.

I still think it's best to let the cat out of the bag when you feel comfortable enough doing so, since you've known eachother for a while. Who knows? He might feel the same way and is just holding back because he's afraid of messing up what the two of you have. Get to know him a little more and see how it goes.

For the first, we met when she approached an OC of mine for play with her canon character and we hit it off great, but it was when she made a lamia to play with my main male naga character that we became really close as friends and became comfortable exploring a lot of kinks with one another, some we didn't know we enjoyed until we took the plunge.

With the second, I met her with my naga too. The two of them fought in the wilds and he took advantage of her 'weaknesses', ending with him becoming her traveling companion just for the opportunity to duel and take her at a whim, two things he really enjoys in life. She's kind of picky with what she'll do and she handles males and female characters very differently while refusing to play with shemales/herms because they weird her out, which ends up in a fairly limited amount of approaches for her by her own admission. I must have struck the right chord with her because ever since the first couple times, we've been really close. As for monsters, we often play games together and we do a huge variety of inspired roleplays. Like for example, we played Warcraft 3 once and she claimed that she'd never submit to a scarab beetle... I proved her wrong. Most recently in the DM RP, I had a Minotaur manhandle her then later on an entire tribe of Goblins had their way with her when she intruded on their village. Lots of bizarre stuff too, but it's always fun. The one thing I have trouble doing with her is playing female characters (despite that being her actual preference) because of some RL hangups she has concerning it, though we have a couple times.

I don't think your friend is disinterested just judging by all the things you've done together, some people just handle OOC things differently and have their own comfort levels. Nevertheless, I hope it all turns out well for you!

That's just a people problem. The first thing is you should sit down, discuss together available time and settle on something that works good. Even if some incompatible potential players will have to be dismissed.

Yeaaah you need to gather people riight on that small strip of overlapping categories.
They need to have actual interest in the RPG part to make the charsheets.

I find it best to only do the most creatively intensive RPs with people I trust not to flake a little while into it and those who show some enthusiasm. DM play falls into that category, since I'm usually the DM.

Once had a story-focused ERP going on with this girl who took longer and longer (i.e. 40-50 minutes) to reply with every post, writing only 3-4 sentence max posts. She never communicated why or apologized for it, though I didn't bring it up. Got to be the slowest moving roleplay ever with nothing progressing, so I eventually abandoned ship.

I want to make a loli(-ish... early teens, more accurately) character that happens to be rather similar to an already existing adult character. Any recommendations on what's the best course of action at this point:

a) make a new, if similar, character with a profile;
b) make a second profile for the same character;
c) remake the existing profile so as to include both adult and young options?

She needs some fitting images for what the character's actually about, but the customs and textual stuff is good though maybe cut down just a little on the dropdown tabs by merging them together or placing some of the info in the body. You don't need the tab for her perversions at all as you already have/can put all of that into the custom kinks descriptions.

The orientation field is a lot less than useful whenever the rest of the f-list genders get mixed in, yeah. Honestly, I figure the best way to do it is to treat the orientation field as how the character identifies their sexuality, and then use kinks to actually specify what the player wants to interact with. Otherwise you'd have to define sexualities not by names but as lists of yes/no/maybe... which is basically what the gender kinks accomplish anyway.
