How do I not be awkward in public?? Help??
My New Year's Resolution was to talk to people more and get more friends because, I'm a senior in High School and I still don't know how to talk to people.
All my friends are "popular" people at my school and will hang out with me at school but, never invite me anywhere so I would try to hint at it but I just don't know how.
I go out into town to play Pokemon Go or just walk around and whenever I just can't talk to people.
I try to tell myself to talk to people when I'm outside. I get hyped up and think about doing it but, when I get there I just don't say anything.
I would really appreciate if you guys gave me some tips on how to talk to people

you are a special and different kind of person and the burden isn't on you to be normal or social.
don't stress over it and just pursue your interests, you will find the right people gravitating toward you.

But I want to be social and nobody ever just gravitates towards me. Whenever I find someone cool online, I can't talk to them because I'm scared I'll fuck up.
