It's not just supply and demand, if you're not attracted to someone you're not attracted to them. If there were fewer sub guys around I wouldn't just settle for them because "omg i need to be having sex, there's nothing worse than not having sex". This is really true, I think for dommes as well to a lesser extent. It doesn't seem to make much of a difference for male doms and fem subs for the reasons you allude to.

In real life if you don't like the scene, I find that the best young guys to go for are out bisexuals because they are already brave enough to overcome part of the stigma and self-doubt. Also, to be crass, there's a greater chance they will take it up the ass.
