For the most part yes. But your also expected to convince your client that your able to get them a profit to begin with. For instance let's say I get a job with merrill lynch (the investment part of Bank of america) just because I work for them dosent mean I automatically get clients to start investing for. I have to first talk them into doing there business with me then show them I can get then a profit. In the end what im trying to day its not just the investment part, you gotta be able to talk with the client on a personal lvl to connect with them. Theres more to it than that but that's the bones of it.

I've been having ridiculous luck for the most part, although in one campaign I recently cheesed a will save and now I have the soul of a drow rogue (disgusting) stuck in my poor high elf artificer's body (along with their soul, as well), who is apparently a huge asshole.

I recently rolled a character (using 4d6dl1) with a stat rollout of 18, 18, 16, 16, 16, 10 (which I nerfed down from a 14), which was glorious. Post racial bonuses, of course.

I appreciate your contributions to my image collection none the less. That soul sounds like a pain in the ass, but if your DM is good I bet it's part of a juicy plot hook. And those stats are insane. I started DMing recently and made my players use point buy because I'm too strict to let them fudge the numbers too much and know that they'd take the greedy gamble if given the chance.

So far it seems like I'll be making a ton of will-saves to not have my body taken over, which sucks because I'm not proficient in wisdom saving throws. However, on the plus side, I'm level 3 and the rogue is level 6 so he could be useful for certain things.

We originally used point-buy, but our DM enjoys the variance-- we had one poor bastard not get a single thing above an 11, and another with a 3 and a 4.
