When you list your interests, replace generic terms with more interesting synonyms: instead of saying you like Netflix, say you like films; instead of saying you like music, say you like concerts; etc.,. 2. Don't compare the number of matches you get to other people on this thread as a way to gauge your attractiveness. So I've been talking to this girl for two days. Trying to overhaul my Tinder profile. Any thoughts on which of these pics I should use? And if your advice is going to be to try smiling, trust me, I've tried it and it's not a good idea. For some reason I can't smile naturally when I know someone's taking a picture. And when it's a selfie it just looks downright weird.

I dont think Tinder shows the reality. Trying to meet a nice girl through apps or dating websites is actually harder than IRL.

So I've been talking to this girl over Tinder on and off for about a week now. She's super hot and I consider her to be way out of my league. I am 100% sure she's not a bot or a catfish.

The problem is I'm having trouble telling if she's into me. I want to ask for her number, but obviously only if she's actually interested in going on a date with me. She usually takes a long time to reply to my messages, but otherwise, this is the longest conversation I've had with a girl on Tinder. Do girls continue conversations with guys they aren't interested on Tinder? Like I know there are a shit ton of girls who use Tinder for validation.

yeah it sounds like she's not interested but might as well just ask her out and maybe it'll work out. In my young naive days of tinder I used to carry on conversations with lame girls out of a sense of obligation to my fellow citizens. Now I am old and cynical and don't keep conversations going longer than a couple days. I don't think this girl wants anything out of you like validation, she's probably just responding to messages cause that's what people do. Doesn't hurt to put yourself out there though

Anyone here using boosts or some shit? Since I re-created my tinder profile I've received significantly less matches than before the inclusion of boosts. Being a cheapskate I don't want to pay for this shit but it kinda bums me out.
