>I would like to do a half marathon sub 1:20:00. I'm close, and it's not even close to season so here's hoping. Also would like to get back to any rock gym more often - was just starting to flash 5.12as when I had to stop, and that was depressing. It would also be cool to get more into orienteering because I have ties to it and know I'm good - with appropriate venue for training and opportunity I could probably get to world-champs within a few years. I'd like to be able to use yoga to make my left hamstring match my right in length.

>Started long distance running last year, but haven't done anything since Thanksgiving
>My gf is in basic training, and I just made a new friend that is in to lifting. So me and him are (hopefully) gonna work out together everyday until May
My biggest problem has always been motivation and self consciousness. I was able to run last year because I would run outside. Now I'm back at school and can only run in the rec, but I'm always a little apprehensive about it. It's not other people, it's just me being uncomfortable in a new environment. But the biggest problem for me is fitting in time to work out with my degree and work. I want to get fit for when my gf gets back. Here's to hoping I can stay on the wagon!

You can do it! I believe in you! Just think about how much your lady will like it when she gets back.
Of course motivating something from a selfless perspective is not the best, but it's damn near.

How long it take U

>triathlon would be dope
Do you do any training from tris?
>>24801692
only the training I described
As far as how long 4 mi takes me, not sure but the 45 min ballpark
>>24801738
Make sure you get into training appropriately first. If you're actually competing, jumping from bike to the road without knowing what to expect is an easy way to get hurt.
