Height doesn't matter too much to me at all, but it can be a huge bonus. My ex was 6ft and that seemed perfect (I'm about 5'5). The guy I'm seeing now is maybe one or two inches taller than me and that's fine, too. As long as I like someone, anywhere from 5'5 - 6'3 is great, but of course there's a few inches of wiggle room if I care about him.

I'm 5'3'' and my boyfriend is 5'6'', my dad is 5'9'' so it's kind of weird my dad looking down on him.
if he were taller that would be great but i would never date a guy shorter than me or even my height. Too weird the shorter the guy gets and they always usually have complexes.

I'm 5'0" and height has never really the top priority for me. My brother is about 5'3" and he has a long term gf who is about the same height as him. To be honest I wouldn't mind dating (if I wasn't already married) a guy about the same height as my brother or shorter, as long as he wasn't too insecure about his own height. About 6'2" and up starts to get a bit awkward for me to look in the eyes etc, but still wouldn't turn down a guy that tall who was otherwise great. I think my husband is around 5'10"/5'11" and I think his height is quite optimal, although holding hands is sometimes awkward because he says I drag him down.
