Screams insecurity, know that feel. I try to not cover it up unless I have lip tobacco (snus) in there. I often smile or show my teeth, as long as there is no camera around.

My biggest problem is that people show no respect towards privacy. People post pictures of me online without my consent or force me to be in group photos even though I specifically say I dont want to, and if I do they still post it online.

Yeah, you can relate to people because they're depressed too. But the fact is that they will drag you down with them. I'm sorry to say it, but that is the harsh truth.

I used to be really depressed and suicidal a couple of years ago. I went to therapy and fixed the things that enabled my depression.

If you want to get rid of your depression you should stop doing things that enables your depression, and r9k/relating to other peoples depression does that.

Thats the harsh truth, but thats life.

With that said, curing your depression wont make you a normie, you still have your personality.

I was depressed for multiple reasons, and being a virgin at 20 was one of them. Luckily for me I lost that right after I went on meds, but there were still a lot of stuff to fix. Theres no magical cure for depression or "one-hit wonder" that fixes it. I needed to stabilize my life and get into a routine for the most part.

Going to see a doctor might sound scary, but you will feel so much better and SO PROUD if you actually do it.

Just keep your head up. You can do it. That anon believes in you and so do I. He did, I did and so can you.

I dont know your mom or dad, but I feel like I was in a similar situation to yours.

My mom was going through a lot too at the time (she still is, even more I would say), and I thought my dad would just laugh it off or not take it seriously.

But it turns out my dad accepted it and became really supportive. He actually told me they were cheering for me (like, he believed in me) for the first time in my life, as far as i remember atleast.

I went to the doctors and got on meds (Escitalopram Actavis, 10mg. Its basically a copy of Cipralex) before my I told my family and I think that made it more serious for them.

Dont put it off, go to the doctor ASAP. The sooner you can get into therapy or get help the better.


Also ignore everyone who tells you that it cant be fixed or that you should "just end it". It really gets better, but you have to work for it.

It might be different in your country about how doctors handle meds and shit, but SSRI blockers are pretty good if you get on a correct dosage.
