Thinking about getting this as my first tattoo. Thoughts on this design (proportions, locations, etc. etc.)? I was thinking about making the star a little bigger or something.
Its pretty similar to my hometown symbology from Fort Worth with the lone star of Texas.
I was thinking about putting it on my left shoulder blade but im definitely open to location suggestions too. Definitely not somewhere visible with a short sleeve T-shirt. Guy btw, and I only have body hair on my lower back, legs, and ass/pubes.

Heres the FW flag btw. Maybe this longhorn would be better? It's got much longer horns but that might just make it awkward and maybe more difficult for the artist.
Went ahead and made a version with the FW flag longhorn. I tried to fill with black in paint and it left a brown outline that I thought looked pretty cool, not so sure about it though.
I think it'd look best positioned on your lower back.

I agree, tramp stamp handlebars would look neat

Are you a rancher? Else I'd seriously consider against something this cheesy, but whatever you want man. I'd go for the OP image but with tapered horns instead of round ones then.

Whats cheesy about it do you think?
not a rancher btw

Make it a back tattoo (shoulder blade to shoulder blade) with the star as the left eye of the longhorn and a red eye as the right one

With a snake in its mouth with a banner beneath it saying "don't tread on me"
