I work from home, so a lot. It sucks. I mean, you just have to go out, meet people, join a club, etc. I had a time in college where I sat at home when I wasn't at class, I sat home alone for like a year a half, I just joined the gaming club at my college and was doing stuff every few days with people.

You could try getting a part time job. I took up a job at the student union theatre on campus and it was great.

Very easy job, not too many hours, still some spending cash, and I met some people.

Pretty much my job was to preview movies we were showing in the theatre and make sure they weren't scratched or anything and also to help set up and run events that were being held in the theatre like jazz shows, student competitions, and shitty comedians. About half of the time I was on clock I could be working on class work as well so I highly recommend you check your school's theatre, if you have one, for openings.

I imagine my experience was above average but still can't imagine things are much different at other schools.

I work from home so usually I only go out for groceries once a week. Though Wednesday I went out for lunch with my wife. Usually just go out for errands.

Pretty much only leave to go to the store. I'm a NEET right now, so I don't even leave for work.
