Unless you're taking a picture of you in the mirror, you'd be looking at yourself "the right way round" instead of in a mirror image. Our brains aren't used to seeing ourselves like that so it looks strange.

I had the same experience the 1st time I started taking photos of myself too. I was under the impression that people wrought I was quite pretty and then bang when I looked at myself in photos my face was all wonky. I eventually just got used to it... Im sure you don't look bad though! It's just your brain playing tricks like the other guy said

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know what you just said was a think but it makes sense although why would it make my eyes appear uneven in size and my nose look larger and more fucked up?

When looking in the mirror you see yourself in motion, while a picture is a still image. Some people look ok while moving but terrible in pictures, I'm one of them too OP.
