That's literally a day and a half post shave. I don't shave anymore(this pic is months old because I don't have a camera of any kind now) because I'd have to do it every single day for it to not look like shit and 1.I'm too poor to afford to buy razors that much and 2. I don't think I look that bad(although handsome isn't the word I'd use) but I used to post in rate threads a lot and people pretty consistently told me I'm a 4/10 which is below average. Plus I've never really had a girl show even an initial interest in me ever so something must be up since it's not a lack of effort on my part

If you find a decent hairdresser he or she'll be able to advise you better than any of us here. Having found said hairdresser and followed his/her advice then you should have your cut on a regular basis so that it never gets to that messy stage and never has, either, that "just cut" look. I'd say that you've got the sort of face that can handle some hair at the back. I can't understand the negative reactions you've had so far. No matter how your hair is you're a good looking guy. Experiment with razors to find the one that works for you with minimal cutting. Splash your face with water as hot as you can stand before you start shaving; that should reduce the cutting.
