I'm stuck /soc. I've been messing around with this girl for a couple months and due to some poor choices our relationship kind of fell apart. The thing is. I was originally going to stay for thanksgiving break (we're both at uni and live 7 hours away). But after things went bad I told my friend I'd ride down with him. Now I'm torn. It's gonna eat at me when I'm with my family/friends and she's up here alone (she can't go home because of personal issues). I know my friends are gonna give me shit for being whipped but when she said "have a nice thanksgiving" it just made me feel bad.
TL;DR Should I stay at uni with a girl who can't go home for thanksgiving?

Don't know if troll but if serious yeah, there's the whole white knight aspect but it just bugs me that there'll be a girl that I had deep relations with that is completely alone for the holiday.

Do you still think there is any hope of getting back together? Either way, it would be nice to eat with her just to be a decent human bean. Even if just friends, being alone sucks real bad. Your family and friends should understand.
