Hey, /soc/ I'm trying to write a research paper on the way online anonymity effects the way people express themselves on sites like 4chan. I'm particularly interested in exploring the ways in which people express themselves more authentically online when they have anonymity. (like how people feel more comfortable with LGBTQ stuff online) I thought people here might find it interesting? idk.

I made this survey to try to poll people, it is pretty short (should take less than 6 minutes) I would really appreciate any responses, even partial ones. All data is anonymous, obviously.
Also any advice on how I can better improve the survey itself would be appreciated.

Some of the questions just assume I use Facebook or anything like it, which I don't and never have.

You need to define your research objectives and write the questions in a way to get data that can be quantified.
It appears you're interested in how anonymity options have an effect on perceived quality of writing, but what does that even mean? How is that important relative to social boards / networks?
It would make more sense if you took one avenue (anonymity versus pseudonym usage effect on frequency and engagement on social sites) versus anonymity's effect on "writing" (like op-ed, discourse). That way, you can measure the effect of different pseudonym/anonymity features with regard to people's willingness to connect with others.
The former is much more interesting and has a very different set of potential sites (chan- different on /soc/ which I wouldn't really consider anonymous, whisper, even quora's answer anonymously feature, etc) rather than the latter....
