So I would usually post a thread like this on a different board but I thought I would bring some fresh content to /soc/ in the spirit of Halloween. Maybe get a haunted house meetup going. Post what state you live in and something creepy that has happend to you. Ill start with something that just happened 5 mins ago.

I live in Washington state. Ive always had a hard time getting to sleep and tonight was one of those nights. after spending 5 hours staring at the ceiling I decided to smoke a cigarette and maybe get some of my chem 161 lab report done. So I live in one of the highly populated well known cities in Washington. My road is a dead end on a hill kinda out of the way im surrounded by horse farms or whatever the fuck you want to call them. When you go out on my front porch there is maybe 40 yards of lawn the house directly in front of mine boards horses as the one to my left does so im basically surrounded my open land. There is two trees in front of my house (ones about 30 yards and the other is right next to the road) and there is a third tree to the right of the drive way in my neighbors property. The only light I have at night is the street light, one of those old school fuckers that has that weird orange tint to it. So about half way through my cigarette my eyes start to adjust to the low level of night and I can swear Im starting to see an outline at the base of the closest tree so I kinda squint and lean closer to try and see. As I do someone fucking walks away from the tree and starts heading towards the road. Then someone from my neighbors tree leaves and walks to join the guy and a third person from the farthest tree. I just stand there kinda stunned finishing my cigarette then i go back inside make sure my doors locked like ten times then turn on my pc and start this thread. I still dont want to think about wtf they were trying to do. The pic is of the tree the first guy was standing under. Took it before "the storm of the century" hit
