Most people there are friendly enough to chat with strangers, especially if you compliment them on cosplay or a panel or whatever.

You say you don't have many friends, so you must have at least a couple. Why not organise something to do together, and they can invite some people you don't know? Get some food and do an escape room! You'll work together to figure it out, and that will create instant bonds between people. You could also get a group together to go on a brewery tour! Or go to that place on Gottigen that has the indoor rock climbing and beer. That's a great evening! And while the weather is still pretty nice, so you could always get a group together to play some casual sports or go for a walk through one of the million parks around here.
