You said that last time, and I'm starting to think of how I can fix my profiles. I usually just vomit up the general idea of the character onto it's profile and tell myself that I'll get around to adding more soon, but soon never comes.

Despite the fact I'm on a furry erp site, sex and other things of that sort aren't usually what I'm looking for, so I don't really like putting up a ton of lewd stuff on my profiles.

I try to leave some things open ended, so I don't have to put up scene ideas on my profile and feel like I'm railroading people into doing those. But at the same time, having some kind of direction might help a bit.

A lot of my female partners have turned out to be actual women by mentioning as much of their own volition, but it's not something I care much about. On that note, it's actually against the rules to ask and pressure someone for personal info like that and you could be tempbanned or permabanned for it. Also against the rules to GIVE info like that, but that's not enforced nearly as much and people trade skypes and talk about themselves when they feel comfortable doing so all the time.

Yes it is. In fact, I'd say that, as far as my sanity's concerned, it's the best thread in a long time.

Personally, I'm not big on hubs. In many cases, something as vague as "anything" might as well be "nothing". You've got some character/setting ideas in the collapses; grab those and make them into their own profiles, flesh them out a bit. If you want to keep the hub, link them in the sidebar (and link from them back to the hub). It's a lot easier to sell an idea when you can say "this is what this is" rather than "well, it's something kinda vaguely along these lines maybe".
