Whats wrong with kik for rps? I've had some great kik erp, and very few thread based ones

I've used kik for RP too and I'll say that while it functions, it's not ideal because the typing is slower and if you want to archive your ERP you have to copy and paste each post individually and then get them off your phone. If you don't do it in a timely manner, kik deletes them.

I'd recommend email over kik since you can still write it on your phone if that's important to you, be anonymous, reply whenever it's convenient, and it's archived. Just use a throwaway email.

Kik is also mostly a normie thing, I rarely met experienced RPers who liked kik.

Most of the people who come in wanting to exchange kik are usually... well, "normies". They're people who want to do low effort cybering with possible dickpic swapping. These threads are more in line with the old school *IM smut writing, and our blood is still with /tg/ and those more intensive roleplaying things.

F-list is what most of us use for several reasons:
● First and foremost, it has profiles. This is super useful. It collects the information on the character for easy checking.
-- ● Profiles also come with kinks. Custom kinks especially are incredibly helpful
● The actual chat is servicable if nothing else, and being able to both join channels and shoot the shit and also have more direct IMs facilitates typefucking a lot better than something that only has direct profile exchanges like kik or Skype
● Having separate profiles instead of a single username is also a benefit, since it allows you to separate the things you want to do by character
-- ● It also lets you avoid shitters, or for people who don't want to scare people off or have shame, it lets you hide embarrassing or gross kinks.
-- ● Since profiles are connected to your chat name, you can just click a name and view the profile, instead of having to guess who someone is because they've changed their name, and then look them up in a big list or some off-site profile (like Wix or Wikidot)

I'm really only scratching the surface here, but there's a reason we all use F-list instead of IRC.

Hey, I'm kinda new to the ERP "Scene". I used to do a lot of RPing back in high school, but fell out of it due to keeping busy during college.

Now that I've got some more free time, however, I'd like to get back into meeting some people to play with. Any suggestions on where/how to start?

Few questions regarding a campaign where PC is a (sexual) slave, and NPC is a master.

1) Being a RPG game, the player character should take charge of resolving quests, interact with other character. However, being a slave, the player character is not in a position to do such things ("Know your place, slave!" kind of a thing.) Playing according to character concept can be fun, but not doing anything and sitting at the back, railroaded woudn't be so fun. How should approach this issue? (running away is not an option, at least for now)

2) What are some interesting and perverted magic enchantments you can think of, for slave items? (Such as collar, cuffs, piercings, erotic tattoos, etc) Something beside chastity stuffs.

Been thinking about making a fantasy barbarian type character. Tall, muscular, confident, extremely deadly, general macho warrior adventurer sort that thinks he's the hottest shit under the sun. Would there be strong women characters interested in, essentially, trying to fight and getting dominated both physically and sexually by such a character? Or is it the type of place where if you really want people to give you some attention you need to play some slutty bimbo sort?

Well the potential for story is pretty simple in that my character is a wandering adventurer, mercenary and menace and should be well known in Generic Fantasyland by virtue of his prowess both martial and of course sexual because that's why we're here. He can also have just recently arrived and be relatively unknown, but a 7 foot tall, 400 pound mass of muscle going about smashing down any creature or challenger foolhardy enough to test him tends to draw attention.

Many people want him on their side and might go to great lengths to please him, but there's no thrill in that for him. Many more people want him dead, however, and those who fancy themselves as powerful want to test themselves against him, and this is where he has the most fun. Could be an amazon challenging him to a contest of strength and skill, an assassin trying to end him, a trap set by a sorceress, him wandering into a new land and upsetting the local ruler etc.

Personality-wise, he's a mixed bag. He knows he's ridiculously powerful and greatly enjoys flaunting his strength, being openly offensive towards others and willing to resort to force at the drop of a hat. He's dismissive of magic and its users, be they arcane or divine in nature, and disdainful of any who feel a social status such as nobility grants them any superiority. Conversely, he's also rather merry, honest and giving. He appreciates the strength of others even if he feels he needs to assert superiority, and relishes freedom and self growth to the point where he will often go out of his way to make sure others have these possibilities.

The main element would be the confrontation, the test of power and (for whoever's playing with me) the eventual loss and forced submission. Whether they want to remain generally unwilling or if they come to accept and enjoy it is their call, a lot of dominant types do get off on getting dominated themselves, but the idea is they get to put up a fight on some level.

Ended up writing a lot more than I thought I would, but I guess I'll reuse some of this for the profile. Was less trying to gauge interest here and more see if I'm getting into the kind of community that'll ignore and/or frown upon this character.

As for fetishes, I guess I'm fairly vanilla? The character won't accept any intrusions up his rectum but will entertain shemales/herms and will fuck other men as long as they're feminine/traps. The reason I ask about what makes a good profile is because I typically write narratives and action sequences, along with witty one liners, as opposed to descriptions of personality and background.

Screenwriters aren't all good poets. Nor are all authors successful playwrights. Each type of writing requires a different skill set. F-List is much different from the more informal highly sex-driven roleplay chat rooms I've been part of in the past. Hence I'm asking the questions. I don't mean to be disrespectful or come off as arrogant. I've been published many times, by many different outlets and, well, I found it confusing when I'd be complimented on my writing, but had difficulty finding quality partners with my male characters.

Also, iunno, a lot of writers, especially in the fantasy genre, actually do a lot of roleplaying.

Either way, "I'm a published author" is irrelevant. In the end, though, you write an F-list character like you would any other character. The sole difference is that it's improvisational writing, which is already a good skill for a writer to have (hence the purpose of writing prompts as exercises).

Typefucking is just a different kind of action scene, though you're asking about how to write an interesting character, not how to write during the roleplay. In which case it really is the same as writing an interesting character in a novel.

You might be right, but I think the best case scenario is to have a dom over both of them. In that way, they cover for a lot of things they can't do, and pose challenges for both as well. Imagine a dom coming up with creative ways to torment their two amputee subs, a boy and a girl, and the two subs have to work together to get through them. Maybe, a neat scenario would be to have the amputees be childhood friends who would have been able to take it to the next level, but were mutually too shy to. Whether deliberately or by chance, now they're both helpless little cumdumps, and through their ordeals they finally fall in love. Or maybe they had no history at all and it still happens. Or maybe they could both fall in love with the dom more than each other.

Fucking hell I wanna try stuff like this but I feel it a bit unfair to demand something so specific of others, especially something as niche as amputee characters.

Not sure. Even in a case like that, I'd think it would be better to have the amputations happen right before the current scenario came about, and the character would just then be waking up to find their limbs missing. Though if you're into the process itself, gorey or not, I'd try to see if I could work something.

The only dominant character I really have is this musclegirl dork, Yuki, pic related, but she wouldn't really be conducting amputations. Though I'd also be willing to be one of the two subs if there's a dom, neither of these I've tried yet.

One way of going about amputations casually, though, is through a type of high-tech (or magic, depending on setting) "toy", a metal band that you can slip onto your limbs, then by pressing a button, the limb is harmlessly popped right off either by creating a portal between two halves of the band, or by deploying nanites of some sort that instantly split and heal the wounds, in which case the limbs can be placed in cold storage to be clipped back on later. Either way, it might be an easier way to goad a character into it who wouldn't normally, since it's more or less just extreme bondage. Though, seeing the reaction of someone waking up as a permanently helpless fucktoy is great too, but if I'm the dom I'll leave that decision to the sub.

I've been doing it in a discord group I made with some friends.
