I stopped using shampoo and started only using conditioner on both the scalp and the rest of my hair. It has enough detergents to clean your hair while not stripping oils out as badly.
If your hair is frizzy, you want to look for products without alcohol.
A good serum can be your buddy.
If you want straight styles, I'm guessing ionic steam straighteners would be something good to look into. I'm guessing because I use an ionic hairsetter curler from Caruso, which drastically helps my frizz by locking the moisture into my hair and it doesn't get as hot or damage the hair like other tools.

Try Moroccan argon oil. You can find organic bottles on amazon for around $20. They usually come with a little glass dropper and all you need is 2-3 drops and it makes your hair really soft and shiny. It's oil so don't put it on your scalp. I only use it when I blow dry my hair like I did earlier today. Oh, and if you're going to use heat make sure you get a heat protectant spray. Heat = damage and damage = frizz. But you probably knew that...

Andddd idk, people don't really play with my hair, lol. But I do a lot; I love the way it feels. It reminds me of teddy bear stuffing, lmao. I know that's weird for hair, but whatever. Having dreadlocks is the only time in my life I've been happy with my hair.

And surprisingly, no. I live in Florida, and there's this salon called Dollylocks that developed their own dreadlocking technique. You literally walk in, it's about a 5-6 hour process, and you walk out with dreadlocks the same day. It's pretty amazing.

my hair is dark and usually greasy, when i wash it it usually gets too much volume and feels dry for a day or two. when i brush it i end up with either grease or soap on my brush. which in turn leads to me brushing less often than i should.

i currently use lush's coconut stuff but i'm willing to change if you have any suggestions. happy to wash it twice a week max.
