If this is you, you need to add in custom kinks and images to give yourself flavor if you want any play whatsoever, as well as an actual detailed body of the profile to give partners a chance to see how you write and play a character before jumping into an RP with you. I actually did say something along those lines and she got angry but she dropped that subject, instead trying to chip away at me so I'd play with her instead. It's difficult to set boundaries with her because she's quick to redirect and avoid confrontation. It's way worse than the OOC clingy guys I've had to deal with on my female character because those are either passive-aggressive and easy to drop or they apologize profusely for transgressions (though some continue doing it).

I've actually had a discussion with other friends of mine on the site about her after she started sending me unsolicited nudes over Skype and trying to start a sudden relationship with me (told me OOC that she loves me and wants me to fly out to her) even though she already has a boyfriend who's long distance and she pushed into an 'open' relationship (another red flag there), and I don't really want to build that kind of personal OOC relationship from typefucking anyway. Hardly. I'd say I spent ~20hr/week on F-List on an average week, of which somewhere between 6 to 12 would be spent actually doing scenes. The rest of my time was spent talking to people, and there were a fair number of people on F-List who I very much enjoyed the company of, wordsmut or no. And, just like with most things, it's the people you work with that makes or breaks a thing.

In the end, I primarily decided to retire not out of some sensibility of "got real sex now don't need typefucking" but because those 20-odd hours a week are something I would rather be spending with the person I love.

Yes, the personal expression of fidelity thing also is part of it, but my partner knows what I've been doing while we're apart, has read some of my logs, and has stated that they wouldn't mind at all if I'd continued working my craft. In the end, though, it's just that I'd rather dedicate that chunk of my free time to them.

I may do one last major update of my log collection. We'll see how it goes; not going to make any firm promises there. But I'd like to, for posterity's sake if nothing else.

They don't. There used to be subscription which got you expanded amount of slots for characters and images and customkinks on those characters, but the site has gotten trouble getting banks to work with them so they gave up and gave a good load of those bonuses to everybody as defaults.
