British dude here I'm just wondering why a lot of the American girls I talk to find my accent and by extension the British accent attractive and none of them could tell me why hopefully someone could tell me why they find it attractive and I guess because it's soc people looking for Brittish accents contact thread my Kik: sherrifftoast85

People often find the traits of those 'outside' their group to be attractive.
The theory is that this is due to subconscious desire to keep the gene pool diverse.
Obviously there are those that want the very opposite, but this is the basic premise.
Either way, own it. And if you'd like to maximize this benefit, try areas away from major cities. It's been found that British/Australian/Celtic accents get the biggest benefit outside of large metropolitan areas.
