Dark Souls 3 was the game I was playing most at the time. I had beaten it twice and was halfway through my 3rd playthrough. Unfortunately I lost my character, because DS3 doesn't have cloudsave, so when I can afford to build a new PC, I'll have to do it all over again. Hopefully I can do it before the DLC comes out. Other than that, I'm looking forward to Pantheon Rise of the Fallen, and am hoping that game will manage to inject new life into the MMO genre, and get back to basics, rather than follow the trends of would be WoW killers.

I talked about it a bit in another thread before bailing like a pansy, but I had only tried the second one for a short while, which is why I know at least a small bit about it. I defeated three bosses and stopped because I was frustrated over my whips almost breaking in what seemed like just a few hits despite them being pretty good ones from Dyna and Tillo.
It was obviously a silly move to start with DSII anyway and it was one of the few times I let the hype from /v/ get to me instead of playing the series from the start. It also sounds like whips are not the best weapons in these games pff. I really wanted to use a whip, though!
Weren't there talks of Bloodborne coming to PC? I was interested in the game maybe even slightly more than Dark Souls. It looks like it focuses more on getting in there and attacking with a little less of the cautiousness needed in Dark Souls from what I saw.

Datk Souls 2 had a huge design flae where the weapon degradation was tied to the framerate, meaning that if you were on PC and playing at 60fps, your weapons degraded at twice the rate of players who were locked to 30 on console, cutting the durability in half with an already diminished durability.

Whips are also only really effective on unarmored enemies, but you can buff them with magical effects to make them more useful.

Bloodborne will never be ported to pc, much to the joy of console cucks who make petitions begging Sony and From Soft to not port it. Frankly, it's a bad move on Sony's part, but they wanted a way to force people to buy a PS4.

That's also a huge letdown about whips. I had wanted to go through the games being a Simon Belmont type of character. If I bother trying DSII again, I'll have to think on if I want to make things harder for myself and just buff my whips or play with different weapons. I don't know if you want to bother with something like this, but massaging your scalp gently with your fingertips for 5 minutes a day might help the process slightly (as well as make the roots stronger) since it increases the blood circulation.
