Wandering like two lost messaiah in the dunes. She is blocked from your view by one of those shifting beasts and you hear a crash, punctuated by a scream.
Bad news. Her leg is broken.
Good news. She found a cave system with water.
There you live in relative luxury as both of your lack of medicinal knowledge leads to only a crude splint on her leg. One morning you awaken to her fevered, and her leg being eaten by rot and infection. A putrid stench that forces you to leave your loves side, even to her fevered calling your name. You can't stand it. You wander off, needing to be alone. And as dawn rises you find your way back.

You hear much movement, disgusting and ravenous sounds, and a smell even more putrid than before.
Twelve rotting men are feasting on your beloved. Your baby .380 only holds six rounds, but you can't even think to shoot.

Upon the fateful day, you'd just hopped into the chair for a trim when a screech of tire and the howls of crushed metal can be heard from the street. Shocked and startled, your barber jerks, taking a small chunk from your cheek with his straight razor. blood seeps into the shaving cream that dots your face and adrenaline and curiosity over-ride the pain from the cut. You investigate the noise with the other patrons,
the car has smashed into a building, and you see two passengers. One scrabbling to get out, the other unconscious. You're no expert, but you briefly note that-as you're assisting her- the unconscious woman has wounds dissimilar from a car crash. You pull her to safety and go back for the younger passenger. I child with frenzy and fear in his eyes, scrabbling to get out. And... A hint of hunger?
His arms flailing make it hard for you to reach the seatbelt, but you manage. As the metal unclasps you feel an intense pain as teeth sink into your bicep. You startle backwards, gripping the wound in shock and agony. The ambulance arrives and as the medic patches you up you note that she's very cute. You note that you can see the blood pumping through the veins on her neck, to her temple. You start to salivate.
