I usually go with my standard relaxation induction. I've prepared it and perfected it over the years and seems to have the highest success rate out of my others. I do have a few experimental inductions as well that I can use such as for erotic or quick inductions, but those are usually only pulled out when someone requests it or I read them as not being able to use a relaxation induction.

Welcome to one of the biggest questions hypnotists have very few good answers for. There are tests you can do to check if someone is deep but subject's reactions can vary and if they're faking and know what they're about then it's even harder to tell.

How does one learn this

Hello hypnotists. I was hoping for some advice.

I really would like to get into this. But I want to know how to be smart. I am frustratingly submissive. I am very susceptible to suggestion and have a hard time saying (and recognizing my desire to say) no. I have often stepped back from a conversation with a dominant person and asked myself, "What the hell did I just agree to? That is not what I wanted. That is not what I'm into."

I get so into the groove of pleasing someone else, that I forget myself. It has lead to me feeling really bad when I snap out of it.

I don't even really know my boundaries. I only really discover them afterwards. Particularly, in the moment, my brain just goes to sludge. I'm asked about my limits and I can only really think to say, "Well... I guess don't hurt me? Or don't hurt me TOO bad."
I don't know how to vocalize my emotional limits. I really do not like emotional masochism. But I'll let things slide in the moment, and then it'll snowball as the Dom goes farther, and then I want to cry.


I really want to do hypnotism. But I already feel kind of hypnotized whenever I do D/s stuff anyway. I worry about losing my voice and doing things that I don't want to do. How do I be careful?

Are there things specific to hypnotism?
For example, I've learned through my research on D/s to beware of men who talk about "true" Doms and "true" subs. People who imply that the best kind of sub is one who 100% submits and has no hard limits.
Now that turns back to the concept of "Anyone that tries to make you do anything you don't want to". But by learning the terminology, I can see the red flag immediately when I see the words "true sub".

Unfortunately the predators are either incredibly easy to spot or you won't see them coming until it's too late.

My advice would be to tell them to make sure you remember everything, this can be done with ease by any capable hypnotist so there should be no excuses. If they try to step over that line then you'll know immediately that they'll step over any other lines and you break it off with that dom.

You can set other artificial barriers as well by simply choosing simple things you find irksome but not abhorrent and saying they can't do them. Something like a tickle trigger, not something you'd actually be hurt by but something small that could act as a warning that the dom isn't respecting your boundaries.

Keep in mind that if there was a perfect sub they would be both obedient AND capable of setting boundaries on the sometimes unquenchable appetites of their dom. Learning to say no sometimes for your own good will make you a better sub and a happier human.

To have a trigger put in you would need a hypnotist you trust or you would need to create or find a recording. Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. Just excercise caution and get to know a Dom a bit before you go letting them muck about in your greymatter. Set false boundaries and that should be a reasonable level of protection.
