I have a pretty unhealthy obsession with Iced Earth and pretty much anything that Jon Schaffer puts out (Sons of Liberty/Demons and Wizards). I'm curious if there's any other groups out there that have that Iced Earth swagger about them? I'm willing to help others learn about our metallic Lord and savior Thrash if wanted.

Be sure to check out "Friends & Family" both 1&2 they've got some people on there that I'd never have heard of otherwise. Different from Suicidal stylistically but definitely worth checking out. And i you're into the more metal side of Suicidal, 13 is a pretty good album.

My favorite is post/post-black metal. Blackgaze is good too. and then there's stoner, doom, sludge, drone, folk, viking, progressive, djent uh.. pretty much anything i guess.

I can't find anyone on this board that likes the same music as I do. Sad times.

Skillet and Sabaton (discovered them at the Download festival in Paris this summer, holy shit Sabaton was great)
and not metal at all, but Puppetmastaz (Mephistopheles, and Do The Swamp are great to start) is really nice
