For the type of RP you're looking for, maybe use a setting where one character is in a position of authority over the other? Throw in some blackmailing and I think it'd be pretty neat.

For instance I have a gundam-related RP where I'm an ace pilot coming out of the academy and I found myself in the good graces of a certain woman in power. Just going to leave this here in hopes of finding a roleplaying buddy/group.

As I stated earlier, I really want something cyberpunk.
I like the idea of hedonistic and broken societies.
Prostitution/Promiscuity are pretty big fetishes for me and I think cyberpunk works well for this.

I'm interested in playing a tomboyish slut/whore who's a bit dominant.
I don't necessarily want the roleplaying to be entirely sexual, but options which allow for sexual solutions would be cool.
I.E. fucking a guy as a distraction for the rest of the party.

Additionally, I'm big on on the punk rock aesthetic. My character will have short hair and wear leather jackets.
Some of the finer details I'm lost on since I want to understand the group or individual I will be roleplaying with first.
Being able to understand the setting and other characters will allow me to further develop my character in a way which allows me to take my fetishes and preferences and refine them in the context of the roleplay.
I want to make sure whatever I make fits within the context of the game.

Also, I'm happy to fill in depending on what fetishes/roles people are looking for.
I am entirely willing to play a futa as I think it could be fitting to this character idea if people were interested in that.

Scifi seems to get the least attention since no one can agree on what kind of scifi. For fantasy stuff, there's at least a very unified sense of what fantasy "is"; i.e. you'll get a general vague D&D sort of thing. Even though D&D has a ton of varied settings, you can be sure everyone knows what elves and dwarves are like, and those generally stay the same across settings. Science Fiction by its nature doesn't really have those kind of familiar tropes (or even familiar faces; no races to google, because those are proprietary and not shared between any settings the way the public domain things are).

Scifi also has the Hard/Soft divide. Fantasy has Low/High, but for the most part a low fantasy character can exist in a high fantasy setting and vice versa without much friction, especially when all you're doing is bumping uglies. With scifi, things like what technology can do and how long travel times are is a bit more important. Then there are the different subgenres. Cyberpunk is very different from space opera is very different from Wagon Train to the Stars.

Post-Apocalypse is easier, since there are existing settings to choose from. You can just make a character for or inspired by things like Resident Evil, Walking Dead, Fallout, or Wasteland.

People will tend to approach a profile thats best laid out. A generic profile is more for getting your feet wet and asking people (rather, those who RP at least) if they want to do something. Don't feel down if they say no.

The series doesn't explain it, and neither does NGE2. I mean, there's supporting and conflicting evidence for most things in Eva, because like many beloved works of fiction, a lot of it was made up as they went along.

I never even finished Frontier, but it was the coolest. I remember being able to only watch like half of it before needing to go catch the bus. I forgot I was so young when Digimon was a thing.

Man, when you talk about the Digimon stuff I remember, instead of the games or the newer anime, it makes me nostalgic. During Adventure 02 I used to look on late 90s internet to read up on all the couple hundred Digimon that existed, and I'd tell off anyone who called it a Pokemon rip off, since it actually came first (and Digital Devil Summoner was the real first major monster catching game)

Hey everyone,

For those that don't know me, I'm the site's Systems Administrator. I keep an eye on the site's servers, networking and other goings-on behind the scenes. I'm also the one posting on the F-List Twitter account [twitter.com].

I wanted to give you all warning in advance that F-List will be going down for scheduled maintenance on this Friday, the 8th. Our server hosting provider needs to move all of Dragonfruit's servers into an entirely new cage at their datacenter, which means powering them all off, taking them off the rack and physically relocating them.

The scheduled maintenance period starts at 6PM UTC (that's 11AM GMT -7 where the servers are located) and should last anywhere between two and four hours. I don't have a hard estimate on downtime because this is a large migration with a lot of moving parts.

F-List and Chat will be completely dark during this time - no friendly maintenance page like usual. The best place to keep up with what's going on is the F-List Twitter account [twitter.com] where I'll be posting regular updates.

P.S. The whole thing just might be [static.f-list.net] Raichu's fault.
