long hair is the way to go, it looks way more feminine and its my personal preference as well, keep it long

DONT do bleach blonde, it looks trashy and slutty. As far as short hair goes, maybe try doing below shoulder length to start and see how you look and you can go shorter from there if you like it.

Slightly lighter like pic related looks good on you. Don't go dye it pink or anything though, I think brown hair generally suits you. Also you'd probably look good with shorter hair (like shoulder length), but you already look great with long hair.

Have had short hair most of my life. Growing up I looked all right with it. I could probably style it better now. Short hair seems to be more manageable. Only thing preventing me from cutting it really is that fact that I'm going into the military in a year and putting my hair up might be hard when it's short.

You have the neck to go short, but don't over do it. Cut it the bottom of your neck line. I think that would look real nice. For your how light your skin is I really think you would look better with a darker color in your hair rather then a lighter color. Hope that helps.
