20 bucks I can guess your name and how many cats you own.
It's my weekend, so drinking is go!
Super fresh, canned about five days ago now. I really want this to be a year round offering and not a seasonal. :(

Lay it on me.
>>23705094
How's H24 doing for ya, man?
>>23705097
Love me some Type O.
Another MT beer, who knew? Pretty coffee and chocolate forward but it's a tiny bit thin, especially for an oatmeal stout.
>>23705126
Going great, I'm starting to shadow for cellar work so hopefully soon I'll actually be dry hopping the beers and what not!
Now Drinking: The Bruery's Chocolate Salty Bbls (Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels with vanilla beans, cacao nibs, and salt)
This is like Chocolate Rain Lite essentially, but with a little twang from the salt (akin to when tasting cinnamon). Dang tasty! Though, it was a terrible move to both open this up alone and at 4:15am. hahaa

That's awesome, dude! Sounds like you're moving on up and possibly to the East side.
There's a local brewery doing some decent things with Belgian styles and applied for two positions (once back in December and then a different one a week ago). Only got called to do an interview for the second position, which was a part-time gig as a delivery driver. The interview went well and was told that I should hear something back by Friday. So, fingers crossed.
If I didnt cringe at this whole fucking board Id say that Im drinking my 7th beer of the morning
Are you going to post your photos now for me to rate, faggots?
>>23705346
Rate what you want, you fuck.
>>23705367
Wow, so original
10/10
>>23705372
I aim to please. What more do you want?
How much do you spend on these smaller brews? I was checking out whole foods and it's like $8 minimum.
>>23705125
One cat. Your first name starts with an S. Steve. Spencer. Maybe two cats.
Money in account. I'm off the hobo juice.
>>23705778
It really depends on the beer and format (as in, single, 12 oz. 22 oz. 4pk, 6pk, etc.)
>>23706022
Yup. Name's Spencer. However, I have zero cats. Used to have one, but he went berserk and my dad took him away. That was around 5-6 years ago.
>>23706260
Ayyyy, no more of that 2 litre 8% cider or whatever it was?
Good go to beer. They manage to get some fresh beer out to my area.
>>23705199
Dang son, hope you get it! Seriously just bust ass and try to get into the production part of it. I'm trying not to be biased but the entire brew process on a large scale is really interesting. Also free beer is usually a perk!
>>23705778
Down here in Commiefornia, a great 6 pack of beer can vary from 8.99-10.99 depending on the style, ABV, etc. The one I'm drinking now was 7.99 for a six pack of cans.
>>23706759
I'm in CA. Do you have any stores you can recommend? Costco had some decent deals for those big single bottles. But it was still like $5 for a stone ipa.
>>23707049
Other than big chain specialty beverage stores (BevMo or Total Wine) I would recommend checking out and price comparing with local specialty liquor stores. Some chain grocery stores have some top tier beer selections. WinCo, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Stater Bros are a few. Unless you're in Southern California, then I can actually name a few for you to check out!
>>23707064
Ya i'm in socal. Those places you've mentioned are my usual. I think i've tried just abut everything stater bros offers.
>>23707081
Oh great! Which area of SoCal? Depending on the area there's lots of great bottle shops. In my area, I.E., there's Gerrards Beer Cave, La Bodega, El Cerrito, and Liquor Paradise. Out in the Los Angeles area there's Mr. Kegs which has a tits beer selection. You might wanna visit some breweries too, it's usually cheaper to drink there and the bottle/6 pack prices are cheaper than at retail price.
Visiting a really small local brewery. 3 Iron Brewing in Colton, CA. Their vanilla porter is really fucking good. It's 7% but feels like one of those trendy session porters/stouts. Really roasty and espresso at first and fades into a nice creamy vanilla ice cream flavor.
>>23704607
hey <3
im gonna have a pbr tonight and ill post when i crack that open
>>23704607
It's been too long. I had finals and had to really focus.
What's been up senpai?
>>23706759
What the....you can get Oskar Blues for $8/6pk?! Here, it's $11/6pk. :(
Thanks! End goal is to get into the production side of brewing, so I'll take anything that'll get my foot in the door.
>>23707872
Heyy, how's that pbr treatin' ya tonight?
>>23708044
Sounds like a heap of fun! Not too much is going on here, just the same shit different toilet. How about yourself, besides doing the finals?
Now Drinking: Founders' Mosaic Promise

Where'd everyone go?
I was at sams club today and saw this 4 pack nitro project sam adams for 8 bucks. Is this a meme beer or is it good
Now Drinking: Bare Hands' Westy
Or, at least was drinking.
>>23709751
I've only had the Nitro IPA and it was pretty terrible stuff.

Hi wow yes, hello you're cute
>>23713324
So fake and gay, nice b8 m8 i r8 it 8/8
>>23713324
Yeah, I had to work 4pm-1am last night and then today, I woke up at 5:30am as I'm just about to leave for a beer 'festival' called Dark Lord Day (it's almost 8am rn). So, if you reply today or tomorrow, that's why I won't respond as I'll practically be drinking a lot of today and tomorrow I'll be in Chicago.
Anyway, have a good one and be sure to drink a pbr for me tonight! :)
>>23714554
that sounds super fucking awesome
<3
have fun with that
>>23714325
<3
Not drinking right now because lolwork but here's a few photos of stuff that's sitting in the cellar. Barrels and barrels of Pugachev's Cobra! Production really increased on this since it's so popular and has relatively good margins for a barrel aged Russian imperial.
>>23708660
Yeah, it's pretty cheap here. And definitely man, get in there. It's a good industry imo, especially now!
A few barrels of Puga get switched over to brandy barrels midway through aging and get some cacao and vanilla beans added but I personally like the normal bourbon version better. Why are they so high? I don't know and I'm not about to climb up these things for a better picture.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TICmWym9DmU
drinking Evan Williams as usual, wasted as all hell. I have work tomorrow, but I'm seriously considering just quitting (well, if I'm not fired for skipping so many days)
Bent Paddle's Bent Hop from Duluth, MN. >>23713324
Decent choice...
>>23710354
Hows it compare to other more popular IPAs?

Belgian beer here!
"Cuvée des trolls"
Chilling after a harsh day.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6QTtPO5tJA
Are trappist ales like chimay worth the $?
Relaxing drinking polestar pilsner, before that was big daddy, and before that was devastation double stout. Mamas little yellow pils is next!
Drinking some of this. Always a nice after work beer!
Surprised/glad that this thread is still alive!
So, besides the Dark Lord bottles (and Dark Lord de Muerte, which is DL aged in bourbon barrels w/ chilies), I picked up some other good stuff while in Chicago. Spent like 1-2 hours at Half Acre talking to a couple of the guys working there about metal mostly. hahaa Gave them one of the DL bottles since they said they never had it and because of that, they gave me the beer in the growlers on the house. Could give more comments on the trip, including Dark Lord Day, but only if people actually care.
If anyone is going to Chicago at any point in time, be sure to hit up Half Acre!
>>23714660
The DLD event, for the most part, suuuuuucked. Rained the entire day, was cold, and I probably spent around 2 hours trying to find my friends (who I finally ran into at the end of the event). Some good parts were sprinkled in there, so it wasn't too bad, I guess.
>>23715625
>>23715651
Awww shit, dude. That's awesome with the increased production of Puga.
Wait...so double barrel Puga w/ caco nibs and vanilla beans?! That sounds delicious!
>>23718503
Eh, I've had the Westy before on tap & from a can once and it was delicious. Though, the four pack I just bought tasted decent.
>>23721295
You live over there in Belgium?
>>23716643
Yeeeeeah, Neurosis!
>>23723889
Sounds like a pretty easy going night.
>>23723400
Depends on which ones, but for the most, yes. They're worth it.
this is such a slow board that threads last forevah
today i leveled up: for the first time in months, not a lot of beer, but jack daniels directly from da bottle and cocacola immediately after
>inb4 retard not enjoying the taste
not a retard, Im just not used to the taste of high alochol shit in muh mouth
also bumper
>>23705126
What is your favourite Type O song?
>>23726008
>not enjoying the taste
hahaha, there's this local FB beer group that I'm in and quite a few of us do chug vids of all sorts of beers.
The reason I bring this up is because yesterday, a guy that was just added to the group asked everyone why we do chug vids and not enjoy the beer. It was absolutely hilarious since he kept on getting mad with peoples more logical answers and ended up leaving the group.
>>23726082
Forget what title matches to which song, so for ease and off the top of my head, Love You To Death is a solid one.
>>23726095
You could always google the lyrics to be sure.
