I dont think its as trivial as hobbies and stuff, but you have to admit there are some people who basically just only talk about being gay or being trans or being [insert group of people]] that need to get a hobby so they can be a normal person. Its certainly a big part of your life, but I was saying that one aspect of your life shouldnt essentially /be/ your life, you know?
Transwoman is still an accurate term, and transgirl, while maybe not an official term, is certainly an understandable one. Same way you could say "Well 'guy' and 'dude' are wrong, 'man' is the correct term" They are just alternate titles. The meaning is conveyed perfectly fine without skewed connotations, so I don't see why its so important to you that you correct me on this issue. I use it, as do many other trans people that I know.

Furthermore, Transitioning does have a lot to do with your lifestyle. You are engaging in an endeavor that aims at altering your body through methods such as hormones, surgery, presenting yourself differently, and other ways. It definitely effects your life in a major way, so I don't understand why you dont say that transitioning at least has some level of lifestyle alteration behind it.
I want to reiterate that I do not think being transgender is a lifestyle choice, as most people don't choose it. If I had a choice, I would certainly not be trans. (sadly, we don't get that choice :c)

Well, i consider myself trans, but havent told any of my family yet or begun transitioning because i will likely be excommunicated from my entire family if i do tell them. Its a pretty major life changing event if its going to basically make everyone who loves you wish you were dead.
