We tend to tell those people to stop.

Also, you've written way too much. You shouldn't tell people how new you are (and definitely not twice), you shouldn't give so much backstory. You also should use customs instead of filling out your lists. That "about the kinks" section could just go in your Maybes as a custom "Try me!" with text like "there are a lot of things I've never thought about before, give me a try!"

In general more customs with more detail.

As an aside, girls generally go through puberty before boys.

Writing a lot just to write a lot is pointless when most people won't want to read it, even the ones who are interested. Most of what people write isn't necessary and will never come up. Write the necessary details, include good hooks to spin scenes off of, make the character (and your writing) sound appealing and fun to interact with, and that'll do more for interest than any pages-long character profile ever did.

There is a "length vs girth" joke to be made in here, but I'm too lazy to make it.

I gotta stop over thinking and analyzing my profiles when I write them. I wanted to make a carefree party girl that could fit into a number of differently styled plays, and then whole concept takes a depressing turn and her carefree nature ends up being a possible masquerade of a vain, delusional and self centered attention whore with a slipping grip on reality, substance abuse problems, a worsening relationship with her concerned parents and a future that seems to hold ever fewer possibilities, and if she ever stopped partying reality would hit her like a mack truck.

Same nearly happened with my space marine chick, whom I ended up nearly giving a bunch of identity issues as one of the reasons for her to join the space navy to belong somewhere. Possibly also the reason for her faith in a united humanity as she doesn't feel she belongs to any particular group, making any kind of seperatists or seditionists traitors to her identity.

I feel like that's the kind of thing that's really easy to say when you're not neuro-atypical. How would you feel if someone told you that a thing you don't see as a problem--and may even like--is wrong and you should feel ashamed of who you are? Also, like I said, a lot of people with autism and actual scientists see it as not so black and white. There's actually criticism over one of the largest autism awareness groups because they treat people with autism as if they're too incompetent to actually speak for themselves or hold any positions in the organization. And I even know at least one person with autism who is high functioning enough that I wouldn't have noticed that (albeit the PTSD from being queer with a heavily Catholic upbringing sort of overwhelms everything else, but the autism probably didn't help with that)

But I'm sure that arguing about this isn't winning me any favours, especially not after I just said I haven't started anything in two threads.

No shit? F-list is the exact opposite of a place I want to have that kind of conversation, or see it at all. Getting offended and angry about shit isn't sexy, it kills the mood, regardless of whether you're 'right' or 'wrong'. We could be in total agreement but that doesn't mean an in-depth discussion of blood diamond trafficking and how horrible it is would make for a welcoming atmosphere that makes people want to typefuck.
Arguments and contentious topics are emotionally exhausting, which makes people not want to stick around. Again, nothing to do with right or wrong.

I'm still writing up the setting. I also have a ton of nebulous players who jumped at "Changeling" but seem to have drifted their attention when they realized I didn't mean immediately. Also for some reason people really aren't interested in working together or collaborative setting creation.
