The frames are pretty close, probably because they are so big but that's what makes them attractive to me.

It's okay, glasses really aren't that bad. Just make sure your glasses are comfortable. Nothing that constantly slides down your face (arms too long or frames to wide) or pinches your nose too much, especially the upper bridge of your nose right between your eyes.
It usually takes wearing them a while before you notice any real discomfort, but the second you do, go back to the doc and try to exchange them or find a solution.
